I unhesitantly picked the lotus from the ground; hoping that it wouldn't wither away. I brought it up close to my face and carefully inspected it, but while looking at it, a screen appeared before me.
[100-Year-Old Fire Lotus]
[Grade: Spirt 8th Grade]
[Description: A 100-year-old fire lotus that was created due to an abundance of magical energy that resonated with the element of fire for a long time. This usually means that there is some type of item or place giving off an abundant amount of fire elemental energy nearby.]
[Effect: Provides the consumer with an abundance of magical energy and fire elemental energy. When consumed, greatly increases fire element affinity.]
I could feel my heart throb a little bit as I read the description of the lotus. It turns out that it's something quite amazing!
'I wonder what Jane and Lillia would think if they saw what I was holding in my hands right now!'
I put the lotus into my 'storage' where the 'Book of Creation' is and began picking more regular plants. I knew for a fact that you don't run into these types of things often. This also meant that there was some type of treasure nearby!
After collecting some more plants, I headed back to the garden. As I looked at the garden, I sighed. Even though Lillia and I were replanting the garden for 2 months straight, we weren't 2/3rds of the way done yet.
'Sigh...I wonder how long it'll take for us to finish this...' It did help that Lillia was here with me to help replant the garden or it would've taken double the time to do this. I quickly handed Lillia the plants and began creating dirt from my magical energy and aligning it with the rest of the dirt. After cultivating for 2 months, my legs heard considerably.
Now, I can walk around for 15 minutes before I have to sit back down. I can't do any strenuous exercises, not even running. Although, I don't care much for running considering my previous life.
Since Lillia and I have been in the garden for 2 months, eventually, we built a hut to sleep in. It occurred to us during the first month here that it would take a long time to finish replanting the garden even if we maximized the speed and efficiency of it all.
Jane wasn't opposed to the matter either so we built our own huts, although I could still sleep comfortably in my wheelchair. The only problem is that I don't feel secure sleeping so openly in a forest of magical beasts that could eat me alive in seconds!
It took me twice as much time to build my hut as Lillia's considering my situation, but it didn't matter as now I have at least a minuscule sense of security while sleeping.
Jane never told us why she wanted the garden to be replanted but it obviously had something to do with cultivation. If she managed to create her own garden and reach such a level of cultivation through cultivating in it, then I might have to try the same thing.
Sadly, I needed to find a forest that contained an abundant amount of magical energy such as this one, although according to both Jane and Lillia, they were hard to find so I quickly got rid of that idea.
As we were busy replanting the garden, a loud howl was heard in the distance that made my heart palpitate in fear. I felt shivers run down my spine, and it didn't help that we were in a forest! Did I mention we were in a forest? Did I mention that I was legally(definitely illegally) handicap?!
