Fifty years ago, the world was devastated by spatial rifts that suddenly appeared in every corner of the planet. Through these portals, monstrous and threatening creatures emerged, attacking humanity with relentless fury. Cities were destroyed, and social order collapsed. When all seemed lost, a few chosen humans were granted a unique opportunity to ascend a mysterious staircase, which, depending on their performance, bestowed extraordinary talents and the ability to become stronger by killing monsters. These individuals became known as 'Guardians.' Ling Han, an orphan, is given a late chance to ascend this staircase. How many steps will he be able to climb? And what talent does fate have in store for him?

Waking up inside the ruins of an orphanage, Alexander finds himself chained and sold to slavery. A modern metallurgist, trapped in ancient times, watch as he tries to play with the cards fate dealt him. He will make plate armor, invent paper, build roads, teach governance and many more, as he tries to carve a place for himself. But how can such things not attract jealous eyes? The naval superpower- Cantagena, The unstoppable army of- Exolas, The superpower of the east- Adhania, The mercantile confederation- Sybarsis, The religious fanatics- Iyizarid, And the ever-present- Barbarians of the Barren Forrest, All want something from each other. This little book, this short collection of short stories, wasn't made to conquer the world. It was created to send a message, to reach people, to whisper in their ears with just one short phase: "I exist". All these stories hace just that in common, that whisper.

Voices: A woman finds herself trapped in her mind, coming to terms with her own personal horrors. The Myth of the Star Luminary: A Grand father tells his grandson the tell of Lumi the Star who fades. His grand son feels he is inadequate.

After Humanity became a type one civilization, they realized just how little they knew about the Cosmos. As if they had passed some sort of test, humans had gained access to to a strange Energy called Mana, allowing them to advance greatly in an extremely short amount of time. Technological advancement was just the start. People could use this Mana to perform magic, allowing them to strengthen their bodies and do all sorts of other incredible things. Then there is Nux. Somehow, he had absolutely no Affinity for any sort of magic and was thus incredibly weak. So much so that a toddler could toss him like a ragdoll. He is an Orphan and thus has to take care of himself. However, things suddenly change when an event that is meant to be extremely tragic turns out to be a life changer for him, and thus, he goes from a nobody, to the Herald of Chaos.
