"Both of you, go inside of your...huts." Jane shouted. All the noises coming from within the forest quieted at once. It was as if a terrifying entity appeared.
Lillia and I quickly went inside of our huts, it was not the time to be brave.
"What the h*ll was that?!" I could feel my entire body instinctively shaking in fear. Even when I was confronted by Jane 2 months ago, I definitely didn't feel this scared.
I tried to circulate my magical energy to calm myself down, but something unexpected happened. As I tried to circulate my energy, I felt a sharp pain assault my entire body. I instantly realized what it was.
'She put up the security measure?' I became even more afraid as I figured out the current situation. Since Jane put up the security measure again, that meant a fight was definitely going to break out. Lillia wasn't awake during Jane's explanation of the security measure so she didn't know what was going on.
"Killian, do you know what's happening?" Just as Lillia asked this, a loud noise equivalent to a bomb going off sounded in the near distance. Along with it a wave of debris came, covering some of the plants.
I immediately looked out of the hut to try and see what exactly was going on. As soon as I did that, I felt a terrifying aura cover me.
'HOWWWLLL'
Shivers ran down my spine once again as I heard the howling off the terrifying existence in the distance. I couldn't help but wonder how Jane was managing to put up with that thing.
Initially, I was planning on coming back and absorbing the 100-year-old Fire Lotus while everyone was asleep but that plan was thrown out of the window now.
I couldn't even absorb the plant if I wanted to since the security measure is activated now.
As I listened to the terrifying sounds made by the two individuals fighting in the distance, I came to a sudden conclusion. 'This forest is definitely not safe.'
If I cultivated harder than I would at least be able to finish replanting the garden soon and leave before this incident occurred.
After what felt like an hour, I noticed the location of the sounds getting closer and closer. I looked out of the hut again and to my surprise, Jane was continuously backing away from what looked to be a wolf with a massive horn on it's head.
The wolf's fur was a deep, crimson red darker than blood and it's eyes glowed a dangerous white light. I noticed that although Jane was backing away from the monster, she didn't look like she was struggling against it which confused me.
"Why would she back away? Maybe she's trying to lure it into the garden?" I looked around the area trying to find anything out until I noticed something.
"Is that why she activated the security measure?" Thanks to overdosing on Blue Bull, my mental capabilities heightened by a significant margin; causing me to critically think even during dire situations.(totally a lie)
Just like the saying goes, "Blue Bull gives you brains!"
"Lillia! I think she's trying to tire the monster out and lure into the garden. When it tries to circulate it's magical energy, then it'll injure itself!" I yelled at Lillia who had an expression of shock plastered on her face. She looked over at me for a split second before asking, "What do we do?"
"Uh...I don't know? Distract the wolf or something? Maybe try to block the entrance of the garden after it comes in?" As I thought! Blue Bull never lets me down, I can feel it coursing through my veins!
