"I want to exchange these"
He handed 20 pieces of Crystal stones which he took out from the inventory to the man.
The man looked at him in shock.
"How...? How did you take these out?" The man said stupefied. He had never seen someone take out crystal stones out of nowhere. But he has read from somewhere that S ranks who had power over space could possibly do this. More importantly, the man in front of him only had Orange Eyes. Which meant he was only a D rank. How could he possibly do this?
"Maggiiiiicccc" Shin said with a smile. Inwardly, he was sweating profusely. He forgot that people didn't have a system like him and they couldn't hide things in an inventory and take things out of nowhere.
'Oh f*ck' he thought.
"Can you exchange these for me?" Shin said.
"Huh? Ah yes yes!" The man woke up from his daze and then proceeded to weigh each and every one of the Crystal Stones that Shin brought. What surprised the man even more was that there were crystal stones that weighed much more than 1kg. Which didn't make any sense since it was a well known fact that only boss level monsters were able to drop crystal stones that were above 1kg. And this man right in front of him, took out more than ten!
The man looked at Shin in admiration. The earlier look of disdain on his face was nowhere to be seen.
"Can I have your card sir?" The man politely said.
Shin handed him his card.
'Shin Salazar D rank SMB'
'So he really is a D rank SMB'
'His name sounds familiar... Where did I hear his name before?'
"Beeep"
"Here you are sir. Approximately 200,000 pesos!"
"Thanks" Shin said.
The man looked at him strangely.
Shin thought about it for a second and then he waved his hand.
3kg of Crystal Stone appeared in his hand.
"Here. You saw nothing."
'It was a bribe!'
The man gulped and his eyes shined. The amount that Shin gave him amounted to 30,000 pesos! It was more than the monthly salary of the normal teachers here in the philippines! Which was pretty low by the way. But we're not here to talk about how underpaid filipino workers are, are we?
Anyways,
"Yes yes" the man said and nodded three times in delight.
Shin waved his hand and disappeared.
Shin went to the nearest mall. He wanted to eat at a fast food chain called Hollibee. It has been three years since he last tasted food from that fast food chain so he wanted to try it again.
"What's your order sir?" The lady said.
Shin's eyes glittered at the sight of the yummy food in the menu.
He thought for a moment and then said,
"One Holly Hotdog, two spaghetti, and two yam burger please"
"Dine in or take out?" The lady asked.
'Should I order more? Or are what I ordered sufficient? Should I get Shaun food?' Shin thought to himself. He was deep in thought so he couldn't really hear the lady talking.
"Sir? Dine in or take out?"
"Sir?" The lady said.
"Sir!" The lady raised her voice. This woke Shin from his deep thought.
"Yes" Shin felt embarrassed but he thought himself to be smart as he said yes.
The people ordering chuckled at his response.
'HAHAHAHA amp'
"Sir dine in or take out?" The lady repeated her question, trying her best to stay in character.
"Dine in po" Shin replied with a red face.
'F*ck how embarrassing' Shin cursed inwardly.
Shin ate the food all in one swoop. It didn't even take him 30 minutes to finish the food that he ordered. Ever since he became an SMB, his stomach became a bottomless pit. It felt like he needed more energy than three years ago.
Next, he decided to go to a clothing store to at least wear decent clothes. He haven't bought anything for three years and the past few months, he just kept repeating the same small clothes that were from three years ago.
On the way there, he saw dazzling cars and a thought appeared inside his mind.
'Should I go buy a car?' Shin thought to himself.
After a bit of thought, he agreed to the idea.
'I bet Shaun would be surprised if he saw me driving a car home...' He thought to himself as he smiled.
He went to the nearest car shop.
He looked at all the cars but only one car caught his attention.
It was the Ford Raptor 2020 model. It was a wonderful truck but the price made his heart ache.
"1,400,000 pesos"
