Shin looked at her stats and then confirmed it for himself.
"You don't believe me do you?" Clem glared at him.
"Oh no. I do I do" Shin said as he waved his hands.
"Hmp" Clem snorted as she crossed her hands and looked away from him.
Shin laughed at the scene.
"How about you Jane?" Shin asked.
Jane shook her head.
"I'm not interested in fighting." She said.
Shin nodded. "That's good. It's a pretty dangerous profession"
"Then, are you guys full time SMBs?" Shin asked.
"Huh? What are you talking about? We're all college students now" Alessandra said.
"Oh that's right. You're only a grade 9 student HAHAHAH" Clem teased. Being the only one who was really close to Shin.
Shin blushed and said,
"Hmp. Was it my fault that I was asleep for three years?"
"Are you one?" Frank asked.
"Am I what?" Shin said.
"A professional full-time SMB"
Shin nodded.
"It's not like I can go back to school like you guys. I'm paying for my mother's treatment and my brother's education" Shin said.
"I envy you all. I also want to go back to those worry free days" Shin continued as he looked up to the sky.
They spent the whole afternoon catching up after that. The group including Shin talked about everything that has happened in the last three years. It was quite a refreshing feeling for him. Seeing the faces of your friends after all the sh*t that has happened makes you feel relaxed.
"Shin, here's my number. Let's drink when Paul and I are free!" Frank said as he handed his number to Shin. The others also followed suit as they all gave Shin their numbers and so did Shin.
"Drink?" Shin asked.
"Yes!. We're 18 years old now! College students! Don't tell me that you still don't drink?" Frank joked.
Shin blushed as he shook his head.
"Then this is your chance! Right Paul??" Frank said.
Paul laughed and agreed.
An unknown amount of time had passed and it was now 4pm.
'Time to pick up Shaun' Shin thought to himself as he stood up.
" I'm going to leave guys" Shin said.
"Why so early?" Clem asked.
"I have to drive to my brother's school. He's studying in SNHS" he replied.
The others nodded.
"Alright stay safe!" Frank shouted with a smile.
"Take care Shin!" The others also shouted.
"It was nice to see you again!"
"I'll lead you down" Alessandra said.
Shin nodded.
'She's as kind as ever' He thought to himself as he looked at Alessandra.
"If you keep looking at me like that, I might melt" Alessandra joked.
Shin looked away as he said, "You wish"
Alessandra laughed.
'Damn. Her laugh is so lovely' Shin thought to himself.
"Alright here we are." Alessandra said. Her cute face dazzling Shin.
"Uh yes yes. Thank you for accompanying me" Shin said.
"Wait I'mma take it back. What I meant was, thank you for everything" he smiled and looked at her deep in the eyes. Their matching orange eyes glowed.
"I'm going now." Shin said as he entered his car.
"Alright. Text me when you get home" Alessandra said.
'Did she just tell me to text her without any change to her expression at all? SmoOoth ah.' he thought to himself.
"Uh... Alright?" Shin said as he drove farther away from her house.
