In an instant, the 8 corpses stood up. They didn't have heads but their bones magically grew them one.
They didn't ask for names since they were just normal mob monsters.
[Bhear Lvl1 Rank: Undead]
Shin looked at each of them with a smile on his face.
But what caught his attention was the amount of exp that he needed to increase levels. It reverted back to 100.
'Maybe every time I reach like 10,20,30... The experience points needed would revert?' Shin thought about it for a moment but seeing that he didn't have any sufficient info, he tossed it to the back of his mind. Of course, the thought of asking the system crossed his mind and he did. But the system didn't reply so that meant it didn't know.
After this, Shin exited the dungeon and went home.
"Kuya you're back!" Shaun said as he nodded towards him. During these past few months, Shaun returned to school and at night, he would stay at the hospital with their mother. With Shin being an SMB, he was able to sustain the expenses for their mother's stay in the hospital while at the same time give enough money to Shaun.
"Yea" Shin said and he patted the boy on the head.
"How's school?" Shin asked.
"It's okay... It's just a little hard to travel from Irosin to Sorsogon everyday" Shaun said.
"I wish I could be like you kuya. That way, I could also help you in making money to protect mom" Shaun said with a frown on his face.
Shin looked at him and smiled.
"While I don't think It's a good idea, maybe when we have more money. I'll buy you one of those Divine Crystals" Shin said.
"Really?" The boy's eyes shined.
"Of course. As long as mom agrees" Shin said with a chuckle.
"What! No fair! You know she wouldn't agree!" Shaun said with a grunt.
Shin was relieved that although their mon was still in the hospital, his little brother wasn't that affected by it than when he was before.
Then suddenly, Shin's phone rang.
"Ringggggggg"
Shin bought this phone a few weeks ago since the phone that he used 3 years ago was outdated. Luckily for him, he didn't bring his phone with him that day. Thus, the sim card was still there and he could use the same number.
"Huh? Who could it be?" Shin said.
"Hello?" He answered.
Shaun inched a little closer. Hoping to hear the conversation.
"Hello? Is this Shin?" A girl's voice rang out.
Shaun smiled and then started to moan while uttering Shin's name. He tried his best to imitate the sound of a girl but it was to no avail. That's why it sounded like 2 male pigs with high pitched voices having a go at each other.
"Behave!" Shin said as he glared at his little brother.
Shaun laughed and then went to the kitchen to grab some food.
"Sorry about that..." Shin felt embarrassed as he replied.
"Yes this is Shin." He replied.
"So you really are awake!" Excitement was evident on the girl's voice.
Shin was confused.
"That's great! Don't you remember my voice? Oh right it was three years ago. Anyways, Hi it's me! I was your classmate from gr7-gr9!"
"Alessandra Canter!" the voice said.
'Alessandra Canter...' Shin fell into deep thought, trying to remember if there really was a girl named Alessandra in his class.
'oh right. Her' he now remembered the girl that was very jolly and had pitch black hair. She was very popular back then and was very friendly. She was alo very beautiful and smart. But Shin never payed attention to other people since he wasn't the type to care. He just slept and slept.
"Oh. Hello?" Shin said.
"How are you? How about the rest of our classmates? Are they all safe?" Shin asked. Yes. He had many questions in his mind that was left unanswered. Where were all of them? Where were his classmates? Where were the people that was in the same school as him?
"We're-we're safe." Alessandra said with a tinge of sadness in her voice.
"What's wrong?" Shin asked. He had a bad feeling about this.
"I'll tell you in person. How about let's meet up at Sorsogon City at the park?" Alessandra suggested happily. They wouldn't even know that she was sad earlier if they didn't experience it themselves
