Chapter 18 - Chapter 17: Magic???

"F*ck you! hahahahahahaa" Terry cursed at him and then smiled.

Yani recalled the scene and then her eyes shone.

'His reflexes are faster than average D rank SMBs. He's worth pulling over' Yani thought as her eyes flashed.

Shin stared at his stats in a daze.

'I have stat points... Damn this is really like a game!'

'so monsters provide me with exp?' Shin thought to himself.

'I should invest my stat points later when I really need them.' Shin thought to himself.

"Shin are you okay?" Yani approached him and asked.

Shin sat up, hid the knife again and said, "I'm okay just a bit fatigued."

Yani signalled at Maria and then Maria came over.

"Cast a fatigue removing buff on him" Yani said.

"Eh... Are you sure captain? He's not even from our guild... It'd be a waste of my mana..." Maria said.

"eh? Cast a buff? You mean...?" Shin confusedly said.

"Yup. In gaming terms, she's a priest!" Yani said proudly.

'Wow. Earth has magic now? He looked at his stats.' Shin thought.

MP: 310/310

In an instant, a bright light glowed around Shin's body as his fatigue slowly went down.

[Ding Ding! Fatigue decreasing! 40...30...15...]

[Ding Ding! Fatigue now gone! Host is at perfect condition!]

The system notified him.

"Amazing..." He uttered as he praised.

Maria blushed at the praise and said, "Hmp! At least you're sensible."

Shin laughed awkwardly as he stood up.

"Let's go" Yani ordered. The group advances to the deeper parts of the dungeon. They encountered 10+ worves and after finally killing the 25th worve, the group finally came to a stop since they saw a bunch of Crystal Stones that were shining brightly.

On the way, since Shin was only a poacher, he didn't have any opportunity to level up again.

"Guys, let's start mining."

They all started to mine including Shin.

After a few hours, they finally came to a halt. The group went back, dragged the worve corpses and then exited the dungeon.

Shin sweated like a pig. It was the first time in his life that he mined. He didn't know how to do it. His body wasn't accustomed to it.

Yani laughed at him and said, "Good job!"

"Why are you so weak?" Terry joked.

They were now outside the dungeon. The grouped gathered about 10kg of Crystal stones. Which amounted to 100,000 pesos. It was a bountiful harvest.

They killed 25 worves but only more than half was dragged outside since they were only a party of 10. There were 6 E rank SMBs in the group and each of them could drag 1 corpse back. 4 D rank SMBs and each of them dragged two corpses. Amounting to 14 corpses and 10kg of crystal.

'this much harvest in a single visit to a dungeon. That's why people are obsessed in being an SMB.' Shin thought to himself.

Yani walked towards Shin and said, "This is your share."

Yani handed him 1kg of Crystal Stone.

"Captain?..." Max said. He was confused on why Shin was given an amount that was equal to them. Poachers and miners were normally given maybe 0.5grams of Crystal stone as fee.Yani glared at him.

"This..." Shin said as he was reluctant to take the Crystal Stone.

"Take it. You earned it." Yani said as she pushed the bag that contained the Crystal Stones to him.

"Consider this as a meeting gift." Yani said.

After a bit of thought, Shin agreed and then took it.

He looked at the group and thought for a bit

.

'They're quite kind. Should I ask if they're willing to let me join their team again?'

"Hey uhm... Can I join your party again if you're missing a member?" Shin asked shyly.

Yani's eyes shined. This was what she was hoping for. Of course, her personality was kind. But she wasn't the captain because of nothing. She was smart and reliable.
