Charles was furious when he saw Gideon laughing at the pictures. "How could you still laugh?"
Gideon veered his eyes away. He walked up to the couch and sat down without saying a word.
Charles looked at him in annoyance. "Why is Freya not going to work?"
The man replied expressionlessly, "She was fired."
Charles was boiling with anger inside. He asked rhetorically, "Who would dare to fire her?"
Gideon replied promptly, "I did."
Charles felt even angrier. He raised his hand and pointed at Gideon, before looking sideways at Evelyn. "Just look at your son!"
Isaac quietly got up and left the living room.
Madison continued sitting in the living room. She turned to look at Charles. "Dad, don't be mad. If Freya did anything wrong, it makes sense for Gideon to fire her. After all, he is the CEO. Doesn't he have the right to fire his employees?"
"I know your sister-in-law well. She would never do anything wrong at work."
