Gideon glared at Freya angrily when she automatically greeted his grandmother.
Freya bit her lip awkwardly.
The old lady suddenly patted the man's arm before holding Freya's hand. She smiled and said, "You have been married for barely a week, but he already knows everything there is to know about you. I am sure he likes you."
Freya opened her eyes wide in shock looking at the old lady. "No way. He does not like me. You are mistaken."
"What do you mean I do not like you? It's more like hate!" said Gideon.
The old lady looked at Gideon in annoyance. "Go kneel in front of the ancestors. Let's not forget you are here for punishment."
Gideon did not get it. Why did his grandmother seem to like Freya?
He walked into the center of the ancestral hall and knelt with a chilly expression.
Ever since he was a child, he often got punished and was sent here to kneel. It was not his first time, so he simply knelt nonchalantly.
