The wind just kept getting stronger. Freya could not help turning her head and looking at the sky outside. It was dark and clouds were gathering.
From the looks of it, it was going to rain.
Freya hugged her arms as her lips trembled uncontrollably. She turned to look at Gideon. "It's freezing. Can you say something? Can you chat with me?"
The man frowned hard before opening his eyes. He looked at her sideways and was incapable of saying anything nice. "I told you not to come, right?"
"How would I know that the wind would get so strong tonight? It's freezing. If it doesn't rain, I might probably only end up with a pair of aching knees."
"If you are cold, then get up. Go close the doors and windows."
Freya's voice kept trembling as she spoke. "That's a bad idea. People might think we were doing something naughty here. I'm not doing it.'
"Humph."
Freya went quiet.
