Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Young Master, What's so big?

After the babysitter left, Abigail hurriedly went to close the door and lifted her shirt.

The little one was very alert and found the spot after a few bumps, immediately starting to suckle with such force that Abigail let out a low exclamation, then couldn't help but curiously observe the little one in her arms as he ate vigorously.

A strange softness filled her entire chest.

In her previous life, she was a renowned cardiothoracic genius doctor, but before becoming famous, she interned in obstetrics and gynecology and had seen many newborns but never felt like this.

Could this be the so-called blood relation?

Abigail's feelings were extremely complex. The little baby in her arms, however, was eating noisily, occasionally pausing to rest before continuing. Soon one side was emptied, and Abigail switched directions for the little one to keep eating.

But by this time, the little one was clearly no longer hungry. He would take a bite, then lift his head to look at Abigail, nuzzle her with his soft little face, and then take another bite.

Abigail was amused. "You little rascal, do you know who I am?"

The little one in her arms didn't answer but just nuzzled her again. His big black eyes shined brightly, with delicate eyebrows, and a pair of peach blossom eyes that looked more like a girl's, his face shape leaning towards Brandon Piers.

Growing up, he might become more monstrous than his father.

Thinking this, Abigail looked at the baby with even more focus. So much so that she didn't notice when someone opened the nursery door until the sound of footsteps startled her, causing her to suddenly lift her head and meet Brandon Piers's narrow amber eyes.

He was staring at her.

"Mr. Piers." Abigail reacted, hurriedly pulling down her shirt. The little one in her arms, who was in high spirits, wasn't satisfied and, seeing his food covered, started nudging and nudging, not letting Abigail pull her shirt down; he still wanted to eat.

Brandon came back to his senses. "Sorry, Miss Green, I..."

"The babysitter didn't have enough milk and went to eat to stimulate it. I... just pacified him for a bit." Abigail had never been this embarrassed in her past life. Her cheeks blushed as she turned her back, interrupting Brandon's words and explaining on her own.

"Got it." Brandon responded, turned around, and walked out. Pullan, who was about to enter, was pulled out by him.

Pullan looked bewildered. "Young master, aren't you going to see the young master?"

"Get out." Brandon commanded in a deep voice. The usual elegance and aloofness were gone from his demeanor, replaced instead by a suspicious flush at the top of his ear. Finally, he muttered to himself, "How could they be that big?"

Pullan didn't understand. "Young master, what is so big?"

"Shut up." Strong-built Pullan, for the first time, was scolded by his young master in such a manner. For a moment, a complete blankness filled the face with a small mustache. What did he say?

At this time, Kelly, who went to eat, hurried back. Seeing Brandon standing outside the door, she quickly explained, "Young master, I..."

Everyone said the young master of the Piers family was a gentlemanly young lord, but for some reason, all the old employees were not afraid of this sickly young master.

"Go in." Brandon interrupted the babysitter's explanation.

Kelly, as if granted amnesty, hurried into the nursery to find the little one happily lying in Abigail Green's arms, kicking his little arms and legs joyfully.

"Miss Green and our little master are really destined. He liked you so much on the first meeting." Kelly, 36 years old, had just given birth to her second child. She was head nurse at the Piers hospital in Gills City, and in this emergency situation, she was sent to feed Young Master Piers. Even it took her three days for the little one to get close to her.

"I think so too." Abigail reluctantly handed the baby over to the babysitter.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she let go, the little one started to wail.

"Wah wah... wah wah..."

Brandon, who was about to go downstairs, stopped in his tracks.
