After a moment of silence, Mo Xiuchen said softly, "Call me when you get back."

The moment Wen Ran's cold refusal landed, a familiar and joyous "Ranran" sounded from behind her. She turned her head in surprise and saw Mo Zixuan standing a few steps behind her, staring at her intensely.
Their eyes met, but she quickly avoided his gaze and lowered her head to check her phone, only to find that the call had already ended.
Wen Ran furrowed her brows, staring at the phone for a couple of seconds. She was uncertain as to whether Mo Xiuchen had heard Mo Zixuan's call and wondered if he had misinterpreted it.
Mulling over this, she ignored Mo Zixuan standing a few steps away and turned to leave.
"Ranran, wait a minute."
Seeing her leave, Mo Zixuan's face changed. He quickly caught up with her and explained anxiously, "Ranran, I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do. I just want to talk to you."
