Wen Ran stopped insisting, took Qin Mu's coat, put it on, and continued forward. When she got to about two-thirds of the stairs, she turned right, passed the tombstones, and came to her parents' tombstone.

Qin Mu stopped a few steps away, standing sideways facing her, looking down.

Wen Ran took out the sweet and sour pork ribs from the lunchbox and carefully placed them in front of the tombstone. Holding back the waves of sadness welling up in her heart, she said breezily, "Dad, Mom, look what I brought you."

She knelt before the tombstones, meeting the loving smiles of her parents on the stone. It felt just like sitting at home and chatting casually in the past.

"Dad, Mom, this is my sweet and sour pork ribs. Aren't you surprised? In the past, mom was always the one who cooked at home, with dad and brother occasionally helping out. I never got a chance to show my culinary skills. Today, I found out that I'm actually a culinary genius!"
