The human changed into a monstrous being known as a 'Beast' who's only desire was to kill and feast on the flesh of humans. More Beasts started appearing worldwide causing panic and resulting in the death if half the human race. All hope seemed lost until a group of Beasts known as 'Morphs' came to the humans aid. Morphs unlike Beasts retained their intellect and had improved abilities with their power they were able to fend off the Beasts. In order to prevent anarchy from taking hold the humans created seven major clans, each ruled by a morph, those who refused to join a clan where known as outcasts.
