"L A I K E"
The next day, Spirit took us to a forest. It was picturesque, there was a stream with a gentle current, trees that seemed to be as tall as the sky, and the colours of the leaves were the richest I'd ever seen. Apollo was walking along next to me, and of course, I was wearing his hoodie and then some simple spandex shorts. We suddenly stopped infront of a mighty looking oak tree.
Spirit gently smiled and pressed her palms flat against the tree. My eyebrows furrowed, what was she doing? Everest came up behind her and touched the tree, and closed his eyes. Unexpectedly, the tree grew taller, right before our eyes! My eyed must have came out of my head. I could hear birds chirping, the soft wind rustling the leaves, and the river flowing.
Everest stepped back from the tree, while Spirit stayed connected with the nature. Axton bent down to the ground and put his hands palm up, almost like if he was waiting for something. There were suddenly more noises, animals were moving, seemingly towards us. Small fish seemed to be leaping out of the water, small insects and snails were creeping onto Axton's hands. A badger even seemed to leave its home and travel towards us, setting at Axton's feet.
"You're up, 'Rory." Apollo said, wait, he knew about this?! Aurora sighed buy buy smiled a little. She turned towards the sun and moved her hands, and when she did, the sun's rays seemed to move, so now, there was a lot more light around us. I left Apollo and spun around, bathing in the light, loving the feeling of the warmth on my skin. The forest swiftly became bathed in darkness, I could no longer see anything. I reached out my hands to find Apollo, but I couldn't seem to find him.
"Apollo! Where are you?" I cried out desperately, I couldn't see my own hand infront of me, let alone a different person, over a metre away from me. Hands settled on my waist as the light returned, I turned around to see it was Apollo. Relaxing, I leant back into him. "Darcey! I didn't tell you to do that!" Spirit yelled at Darcey, who seemed to be about to burst out laughing.
"I'm sorry, but that was hilarious, Axton's face was to die for when his little snails crawled away from him." Axton's face fell and he gave her the middle finger in return.
Aurora turned to Apollo, with a very sharp look. "I swear Apollo, if you set this whole place on fire, I will kill you" Apollo chuckled before stepping away from me. He closed his eyes, turning towards the Sun, and when he reopened his eyes, they were beautiful shades of red, with hints of gold or orange. I stepped towards him, placing my hand on his cheek. He places his hand ontop of mine and leant into it. He softly took my other hand and placed it on the other side of his face.
He then lowered his head so his forehead was against mine. "Breathe" He gently whispered as a large amount of warmth enveloped us.
"A X T O N"
I'd never seen this before, but it was so cool. Apollo had Laike in his arms, while a ring of fire was around them, almost protecting them from any outside danger. Nobody could touch them now as they would be burned, of course if Laike made contact with the fire, she would be fine, considering Apollo is her soulmate. She could play with it if she wanted to. It was magical to watch, the amount of control Apollo had over the fire was amazing, and you could tell it was because of Laike and her close contact and love for him.
