"L A I K E"
We were back in the car, driving driving to some town in Australia. I was leaning on Apollo's chest as Everest drove. Spirit was in the front, Axton, Rory and Darcey were in the row behind, and then it was Apollo and me in the back. The trees flew by until we reached huge gates, black with gold details. There were letters in gold on the gate, Woodhaerst, it read.
Everest got out of the car with Spirit, they both went to the side of the gate, where a speaker was. I couldn't hear what they were saying but they looked serious. When they were done, there was a slight pause before the gate opened. Everest and Spirit got back in the car and drove us into the town.
Inside the gates it was super nice, brick buildings, of all different shapes and sizes, brightly coloured or pale. There was a town square, and in the middle there was a water fountain with something odd ontop of it. People stopped bustling aboit their lives to stare at the car and furrow their brows. Everest stopped the car and we all got out, me glued to Apollo's side. I took a better look at the town, the ground was paved in stone, the buildings seemed to be made of brick and painted on.
A few small shops, I spotted a flower vendor on the side of the street with a cart, flowers of all different species stacked inside it. Trees littered the area, making it green and cozy, more village then town. A woman with platinum blonde hair, nose piercing, earrings, pale blue eyes and a slim build came over to us. She had a kind smile and was holding a binder. "Hello, I'm Rosina, I live here in Woodhaerst and am going to show you around, Moonsilvers." She started walking and gestured for us to follow.
She led us through the town, me gawking at its beauty the entire way. We eventually reached a big white building with black accents. "This is the town hall, the Blue Moon leader resides in there." She gestured to the building. "He is willing to talk to you." I gulped deeply and stared at the building. I felt a small tug on my hand as the group descend onto the building. I look upto the culprit and see Apollo smiling gently at me, "Come on, let's find some answers" I remained silent and nodded, letting him guide me into the house.
I seemed to notice every single detail of the town hall, like I was taking a photograph with my mind. I glanced at Apollo, to see him staring at me. Our eyes locked as he gave me a small smile, and gestured for us to follow the rest of the group. I trailed behind them, my hand was tightly wrapped around Apollo's, as an older looking man with greying hair, a dark suit, and he was sitting at a dark oak desk, typing on a laptop. He seems to notice us enter and stood up, I noticed that as he looked at our group, his eyes became glossy.
His eyes settle on me as I drew in a breath. He wipes a stray tear from his eye, and looks me up and down.
"Welcome home, Laike"
