Valentine's day was ten days away and Erica was wondering if she should confess her feelings to Steve or not.
The last few months, she and Steve became really good friends and he was very protective of her, if anyone teases or tries to create trouble for her, Steve always ensures they don't succeed.
So, Erica wanted to confess her feelings to him but she was too shy to do so, after some deep thoughts, she decided to first confess to Lisa about her feelings and then take her advice.
After school, she requested Lisa to accompany her to a park they always visited as children as she had something important to discuss.
Lisa agreed and the two were about to head out of school when Steve blocked their way.
"Erica, I have something very important to discuss with you"
"Sorry, she and I are going to hang-out as we planned to spend some time together." Lisa arrogantly answered him.
"It is really urgent, please" Steve requested Lisa, who was surprised as this was the first time he talked to her politely.
Looking at his worried face, Lisa did not have the heart to say no so she agreed and turned to face Erica, seeking for her permission.
"Sure" Erica agreed to his request as she can't say no to him and also she felt nice that he needed something from her.
"Thank you guys, I owe you one" Steve thanked Lisa, he held Erica's hand and left with her.
Lisa sighed in disappointment seeing how close Steve and Erica are and left for her home.
"Where are we going?" Erica nervously asked him as he was taking her to the deserted side of their school.
"You will know"
After a few minutes they reached the place and Steve seriously looked at Erica making her heart flutter as he looked very intense in that moment.
"What happened Steve?"
"Erica, I need your help"
"With what?"
"First promise me whatever I am going to tell you is going to stay between us."
"Of course it will, that is a promise"
"As you know valentine's day is going to be coming soon...."
Erica's heart started beating fast as she got nervous anticipating what he would say but his next words, broke her heart.
"I really like Lisa and I want to propose to her, can you please help me with a few things?"
Erica was surprised when she heard what he said, she couldn't clearly process his words and looked at him dumbstruck.
"Erica?" Steve patted her on the shoulders as she was not responding.
"W.. What?"
"I like Lisa, I need your help with a few things, can you please help me?"
"You like Lisa?" Erica still couldn't believe what she heard.
"Yes"
"But you guys always fight"
"Yeah, because I don't know how to express my feelings so I fight with her but I really like her and I want to ask her out, I am not sure what she feels about me, so wanted your help"
'I really like her… I really like her… I really like her' Only these words were going through Erica's mind and she tried really hard to stop her tears from flowing.

Just then Erica's phone rang bringing her back from the past memories.
