The rise of the morning sun in the background lights the room, signing new dawn as Wyatt and Mirin are staring at each other. Wyatt's clothes are covered in the red-colored fluid as Mirin stares at him with an agitated gaze.
Wyatt then rises to his feet as he scratches the back of his head as he said, "Fine then, I promise you that I will not do that again. Is that good enough?" Wyatt asked in a curious note.
Mirin sighed as she follows Wyatt, standing up as well as she said, "No more recklessness next time. At least bring someone to guard your back. We're in this together. Ok?" She said as she gave Wyatt a smile with a wink while giving his chest a soft punch.
Wyatt then holds Mirin's hand as he took it off his chest. He then said, "Understood Ma'am," he said in a mocking tone as he stares down at Mirin because of the visible height difference. He then walks towards Fulario's backpack as he took out a bear onesie and brings it with him into the bathroom. He then stops at the door of the bathroom as he turns around and asked Mirin, "Have you already took a bath earlier?"
"Of course I have, I'm not like the rest of you who waits until I am dirty and stinky to take a bath," She said in an agitated note as she raises one of her eyebrows.
Wyatt gave a small smirk as he said, "No wonder you smell so good," before entering the bathroom.
"What?! Why you!..." before Mirin could finish her sentence, Wyatt had closed the bathroom door, cutting her off. Mirin then sighed as she walks back to sit on her bed while inspecting her sword for any sort of flaws that can hinder her performance.
Axel just woke up as he rubs his eyes while panning around the room before she notices that Wyatt's bed is empty and Mirin is inspecting her sword. He then asked Mirin, "Mirin, where is Wyatt?" he asked in a low tone as he had just woken up.
"He's in the bathroom," she said in an agitated note. Noticing how she spoke, Axel guessed that Mirin wasn't in a good mood and refrains from asking questions any further as he rises and sits on the side of his bed, looking towards the morning sun that shines warmly.
Not too long after, Fulario also woke up and he immediately sits on his bed. Noticing that Mirin and Axel had already woke up, he decided to greet them, "Good morning, young Axel, and young Mirin."
"Good morning, Fulario,' both of them answer spontaneously as soon as Fulario finished his question. After that, Wyatt walks out of the bathroom wearing his bear onesies. Axel gave a small chuckle as he sees Wyatt who had just walked out of the bathroom.
Wyatt's gloomy and tired face does not fit the bear onesie's happy vibe that it tries to give off. Instead, now it felt as if the bear onesie had become one with Wyatt at being tired and lazy. Wyatt then asked, "Uh, guys? Does any of you know where the nearest Dryer is?" he asked as he looks at the three people who are minding their own business.
When Wyatt looks at Axel, he shrugs his shoulder. Then he looks at Fulario, he shakes his head. He then finally looks at Mirin. With an awkward tone as he asked, "Uh, Mirin? Um, do you know where the nearest Dryer is?" as he scratches the back of his head.
Mirin sighed and looks at Wyatt. She then rests her sword against the wall and crosses her legs as she asked back, "Why don't you tell us where you went to earlier?"
"Um, well. You see, when I woke up, before anyone else, I had a thought, 'What could I do before anyone was awake?' and then I had an idea. I better go check where we were heading to today, which is the Food Fest. But there, I noticed that there's Scavengers nesting near there so I kinda instinctively got rid of it myself, you know? Besides, it was a small Nest anyway. There were no more than about 40 not including the eggs, that I killed earlier." he explained as he scratches his head.
"What?!?!" both Axel and Fulario exclaimed as they both had a shocked face upon knowing what Wyatt had done.
Mirin only looks at him quietly as Fulario asked in an almost furious tone, "What were you thinking facing a Nest of Scavengers all alone, young Wyatt?! You could never be sure when those bastards might pull something out of their cheeky tubes. The last time we destroyed a Nest, those bastards also filled their tubes with poisonous gas!!"
Axel continued, "Not only what that, who could've known that it was Scavengers?! You could've gotten yourself ambushed or killed!!"
"Guys, relax... I'm fine now, see?" he said as he holds his hands in front of his chest.
"How could we be relaxed?!" both of them exclaimed as they looked at Wyatt. Then suddenly, the ground started to rumble as the whole building is shaking, almost as if someone had shaken the very foundation of the hotel. Wyatt loses his balance as he holds on to one of the beds trying to keep standing.
"Uh, guys!... Look!!" Mirin shouted with a pale face as she points outwards towards the sky where the sun is rising. Rivaling it, was a couple of sky towers that seemed to emerge from the ground. The tower had an appearance similar to a flower that has yet to bloom, its middle structure is covered in hard and thick layers of hardened material with a few holes that seem to exhausts red-colored particles while the other tower exhaust blue-colored particles. While the outer layers are covered in a thinner material that reflects the light of the sun.
Their faces sunk in shock and confusion as their mouth are wide open from the shock. The hotel continued to rumble as the tower continues to rises from the ground, towering even higher than any building near it. When the tower had reached its full height, the outer layers open up and the towers begin to exhaust even more particles. Screaming of people can be heard all across the District as panic and chaos ensued.
"What... Is that thing?..." Axel asked in shock as he is now staring at the tall tower that seems to come up out of nowhere. His face is filled with shock as he became speechless. When suddenly, a sound can be heard from inside their head.
[Warning!! City Level Threat detected!! All combat personals are to engage with the towers that had risen near them!! Failure may result in the destruction of the City!!]
Then, Axel looked at everyone before all of them gave a nod. In a split second, they grabbed their equipment and ran outside of the room.
