Chapter 33 - Never Fight A Girl Pirate!

Honestly, I didn't think that the girl would be so skilled. She blocked all our attacks and pushed her daggers forward. We were having a tough time even though we were three.

Her fighting skill was different. Instead of dodging, she was defending the attacks and quickly changing into combat mode. She was a quick thinker which made things worse.

Oliver fought her when I and Rock Flames were resting on the slope of the mountain, trying to regain our strength. The girl was pushing Oliver back to a tree but before she could succeed, I came to the rescue.

I slashed my way through her defense and hit her hard so that she flew to a distance. I hoped to get some time out of it but almost immediately, she got up and rushed towards us. She was like a wild bull to whom, whatever you did was useless. I was getting angry of this game. Oliver jumped to strike. At the same time, I summoned the power of Magnum. His voice deep inside told me the way to strike.

We started glowing and I was about to strike when I heard a voice. "Stop!" The voice yelled. The man's voice was so powerful that all of us stopped and looked at the direction of the voice. A man was standing on a tree branch. Great! Another tree branch pirate! I thought.

The man was pretty old. He had a small white beard with a white moustache. He was not very tall and looked timid and weak. He had a stick with him which looked like it had fallen from a tree branch and directly fell to his hand. The stick didn't look strong but was as big as the old man's height. The man wore a loose pant with a combination of a Kung Fu uniform from the waist above. He even tied a white strap on his forehead which made him look like a Kung Fu master.

"Lily! That is not the way to treat travellers." The man decided. "But master…." Whatever she wanted to say evaporated. That proved the control of the master over all his disciples. Lily put her daggers back and turned to us. "I am Lily and I am sorry for such a behavior. We Variaries clan students thought you were trespassers." She admitted her mistake.

"We shall talk about the rest afterwards. First let's make our way to the clan." The old man said which included us as well. We looked at each other and nodded. There was no harm in checking their clan. After all, we did need to go to the town.

"We will meet you down below the mountain. Come fast." Saying so, Lily jumped down as if she could fly. His master followed. I didn't understand all of it. Who were these guys? Anyways, we resumed our journey down. Thankfully, our ropes had not taken damage and we climbed down safely.

After a point, the ropes reached its limits. We couldn't further go with them and had to untie them from our bodies. The rest of my journey scared me a lot, especially the fact that I didn't have a rope to protect me now.

We took halts in between. In about an hour, we reached down. I watched Lily waiting for us down. The old man was nowhere to be seen. We got down and our mountain journey ended.
