"Just for your kind information, I don't feel guilty about attacking you." Lily said. "I only apologized because my master was around."
Her tone was so harsh, I immediately understood that she was a short-tempered boyish girl who liked to insult others. We said nothing but followed Lily who led us wherever we were headed to. We walked around the town.
The town was half lit as it had just been morning around 10:00 am. We went through the market area which was crowded considering the time of the day. There were numerous shops of different varieties as we walked. I noticed the vegetable and fruit shops having the most crowds. (Unnecessary information: Vegetables and fruits are not like those in earth, they are different.)
I could see the kindness around the whole area. Instead of screams that can be heard in markets, it was a very silent and nice atmosphere. Or maybe it was just because the time was morning.
Then we turned to the next street which looked like the house section as I found many palaces on the way. The town was surely filled with riches.
Lily then took us through a narrow path where I didn't find anyone. The place had a lonely feeling which was not appreciated by any of us. We quickly passed the area and found ourselves in front a huge door. The door was made of hard wood and it had been locked from inside. I couldn't see a way of getting over it so I let Lily do her thing.
She banged on the door which made a loud noise. A voice enquired about who we were. After giving some answers Lily said, "Hail Variaries!" Immediately the door flung open. There was a girl standing there. She eyed us then went back to talking to Lily. "Who are they? Are they trouble?" She asked openly as if we were not present there. Lily shrugged. "I don't know, maybe trespassers. Master has invited them in." She replied. Then the girl glared at us again and let us in.
The inside had a Japanese feel. The house was made of wood. The sliding windows had been slid open. There were students practicing some kind of fighting skills like Kung Fu but wasn't it. Looking by the way of fighting, I knew it was some other art of fight. I didn't see the master around but there were other trainers as well.
When we stepped in everyone stopped doing their work and stared at us. I didn't know if we were going to be happily accepted or killed with rage. The trainers all gathered around us. They didn't seem too happy with us. Then they made way for us to proceed. I didn't like the idea of standing with those angry trainers so I headed forward. Lily guided us inside the house.
There were some paintings hung around the walls of great warriors. In the middle of the room sat the Master we had met earlier on his knees as if he had been punished. He opened his eyes and smiled. He said, "Welcome to the Variaries clan. Now we shall kill you."
