Zion took Rira to The Arena, the place where Zion 'worked'. Which was as its name implied, was a giant arena. Zion went there to increase his own power, and fight in ranked matches to make very considerable amounts of money from betting, admissions, and whatnot. Its state sanctioned and very well managed, so no one gets too seriously hurt, and most of the fights are just people fighting in the showiest ways possible.
"Oh, you fight here?" Rira asked. "My dad took me here a lot when I was younger."
"Yeah, guys that work here are cool, also it increases my skills in many ways, aside from the money that's the main reason I work here." Zion said. "I have a fight in about an hour, want to come watch?"
"That does sound really interesting to watch," Rira admitted. "I'm down."
"So did Zion put you up to this?" Yuaka asked suspiciously. "And don't play dumb, I know you're up to something."
Sara raised her hands in defeat. "None of this was his idea, in all honesty he opposed me moving in the dorms, it makes me sad not being able to see him but if I can do this right, maybe I can do something for him, he's been so focused on proving his strength lately, and fighting at The Arena." Sara rubbed her eyes, "I want him to have something."
"Wow." Yuaka grabbed her heart. "That was tear-jerking, but I don't see what that has to do with me."
"I've been looking for solutions to my problems and it came to me when you showed up, Kings and Queens are usually fairly equal, but in Zions case he is in another league compared to the previous Queen." Sara monologed. "In many cases Kings and Queens would be in relationships but Zion is a loner, and not many people talk to him because of it. And then comes you, on his level, and you are so much like him you have no idea. "
"That's kind of unsettling." Yuaka admitted, "But the way Zion treats you, I do believe what you're saying." Yuaka paused for a second and Sara noticed the mention to her brother. "Since you've been honest with me, I'll be honest with you," Yuaka blushed. "I do have a really small, tiny, feeling that I may have a small crush on him."
Sara smiled, pleased. "Here, come with me, I'll get you lunch, and we can talk."
In The Arena, Zion and Rira were gathered, waiting for Zions match to be announced. Zion currently was talking to one of the people who ran the theatrics for The Arena.
"What did you want me to play again?" The director asked, trying to write it down.
"A song used in rhythm games, Crystal Corruption by Liaqou, should be the first thing that comes up, it builds up hype and will add to the dramatics." Zion scrolled through his music playlist making sure that was the right one.
"Not a problem!" Said the director jovially as he clapped Zion on the shoulder.
"Twenty minutes until you're up Zion!" Said a man who was checking a schedule.
"Twenty minutes?" Zion sighed "I swear its getting longer every time I have a match."
"Oh don't be a crybaby, crybaby." Rira jeered at him "It isn't that long."
"Don't patronize me dude," Zion rolled his eyes. "I'm just a bit nervous, that's all."
"Im sure you are," Rira pondered for a bit, "Yeah id feel a lot more nervous than you are."
"Exactly!" Zion agreed. "But to be fair the excitement outweighs the nervousness, causing impatience you know." As he finished one of the directors called for him. "Aight, see you in a bit, make sure to root for me!."
Yuaka was at a small family run bakery at the outside of town with Sara who was explaining her ideas for Yuaka. "So what's your plan?" Yuaka asked, eating her blueberry muffin with gusto.
"Dunno," Sara yawned, "I was thinking overthrowing the local government and turning them to my side before tackling the world governmen-" She stopped. "Oh you meant the- not world domination thing... Riiiiiiiiight." Sara sipped her coffee. "Also wasn't really sure, just had an idea and ran with it."
"So you did all of this, from a hunch?" Yuaka asked in surprise.
"Kinda yeah, but I know what im doing,
