Chapter 2 - In the name of a Pariah

The sky was covered with anthracite grey, the wind blew an icy air that is bitten your skin. Pink flower buds began to point their noses at the branches. Tossed like a fish by the current, the pink petals fell in a cascade. This is the story of an outcast in a universe that changes with time.

Her constant lynching and daily humiliations were her Stations of the Cross. She was the shame of her entire high school. Without even knowing why. Like a mere piece of flesh walking in the corridors, she had lost all humanity.

She had short hair, tattoos on all parts of her body that she could access.Even not major, but already artist in the soul, these indelible works was hers. After seeing this old machine, still functional, at the antique shop, she had put a few pennies aside to buy it. She was strong, physically and mentally. She has never let herself be bullied, she has never been able to endure this injustice, but how do you want to fight against 1,500 students? So she was trying to keep up. She was living off boxing, music and writing.

She studied in a public institution, where there were often newcomers. As in all major high schools. Each time they were taken aside and put to the taste of the day: be wicked with her, persecute her like the others or become like her. They always chose the first option. Survival instinct compels.

As a group of zebra threatened by lionesses, the other animals in the herd abandon the one they consider the weakest. Whatever the truth is, they do it for their survival. It's in their genes. It's the same here. She's strong, but she's not strong enough to defeat the herd.

She even sometimes forgot her name, it was pronounced that rarely. You're going to ask me, where were his parents? Well, they were obsessed with working in a big construction company. They even manage to forget her first name. But she has one, yes, this pariah had a first name. Reiko.

And she didn't expect another girl to turn her life upside down... Kaat.

But this girl is no longer here. She killed herself yesterday.
