My body became numbed, I was overwhelmed with emotions that I don't know exactly what I'm feeling about seeing her again. She smiled at me. at the three of us and all of us don't know how to react to her sudden appearance.
"You guys look great." She continued, when no one said anything back to her.
"You too. How are you?" Denise finally said as soon as she got her composure back. Vodka and the other girls with her, are wearing colors for the Business Management Department.
"I'm actually fine, better in fact." she excitedly told us, but again, we didn't know how to respond to her, so we remained quiet.
She sensed the hesitation, awkwardness and our aloofness towards her, causing her smile to drop from her face. She looked up at us, looking all guilty.
"Guys, about what happened before. I just want to say..." She began, but she was cut off by Phro and Donna, who just entered the lobby of the building.
