DOMAIN BOSS (1)
Stalane carefully inspected the puzzle piece she was currently holding. She is certain that she have already seen something similar to it once. While she was analyzing what the letters and numbers could possibly mean, the deras around her was attempting to attack her again. Stalane gave a deadly glare to the dera surrounding her which stunned all the deras in fear. That is when Stalane finally remembered it.
Stalane immediately killed all the deras with her arrows. Once the dera all died, the loots that could be collected appears. Several cards also have been dropped.
Stalane picked one card that one dera dropped. She curled her lips when she saw the numbers on the card's info. It is similar to the puzzle piece that she have.
She then pulled out all the cards that have a similar numbers and letters. Apparently all of the cards that the dera dropped who were inside the rest house have a code-like letters or numbers on the bottom of it, where the card's information are all written.
Stalane hurriedly arranged the cards together, however no matter what arrangement she did, nothing changed at all.
A few hours have already passed and Stalane could still not figure things out. Her own instinct tells that she's on the right track, but she just really seemed so stuck.
She stared at the cards laying on the floor as she grab one. "How do I even use thi---wait... Use?" she whispered her own thoughts as an idea popped inside her mind.
She put down the card back on the ground. She then utter a Lyrion Spell for using a card, "Qio!"
Multiple cards lits up, but most of them remained the same and wasn't able to heed on Stalane's request on summoning or using the card.
She then arranges the cards again, however she already tried more than 10 times and all of them led to one result : failed.
She inhaled and exhaled trying to be as patient as she could and hoping she can calm herself down. She did another arrangement using all the clues she got every time different cards lits up from different arrangements she used and using the puzzle piece she have as a guide.
After her 13th try, she finally figured it all out. She immediately arranged in the right order. This time, she's fully confident that all of the cards will all lit up. She arranged the cards backwards from what the puzzle piece was written.

Stalane sighs as she closed her eyes, hoping that this is finally the last try she have to do. She is already slowly losing patience doing this puzzles, considering on how many numbers there were. She doesn't even understand what it means nor does it makes sense for her. Nevertheless, she just followed what the puzzle piece says and on how the cards lits up earlier.
"Qio!" she uttered the Lyrion spell one more time.
This time, all the cards finally lits up. The cards flew in the air and gathered in one spot. Seconds later, a form was slowly being noticeable.
It took Stalane a minute to finally understand what's going on.
All the deras she fought earlier was just a piece of this domain boss. By using all the cards that the deras all dropped earlier, she was able to summon the true domain boss.
Stalane got stunned by how the dera looked at first, but she then immediately got her own posture back.
"You finally showed up" she smirked as she pulled out her bow and arrow from her inventory.
It has a feminine and beautiful appearance as the dera stands on its own two feet just like how a human does, despite being an insect-like dera. It's whole body is pure white and it's white antennae on its head has a length that is tall as its own body. It's back is also covered with its beautiful white wings
"I'm hoping that you have the last gem that we are looking for" she said as she aim her arrows on the dera.
The dera called Merapeto Nymph smiled as it flap its wings. The wind made by Merapeto Nymph's action slightly pushed Stalane back.
Stalane watched how the dera fly above and looked down on her. However, it didn't matter to Stalane whether it is flying or on the ground. Unlike, Syton who is a swordsman and must fight in close battle, Stalane is a hunter which uses range.
Stalane dodges when the dera flaps its wings again in order to make a wind in order to attack her. Stalane was slightly shocked by the loud bang on her back after she successfully evaded the attack. When Stalane looked behind her, she saw just how powerful that blow really was. Apparently, that slight push she received earlier when the Merapeto Nymph was attempting to fly wasn't even a real or an intended strike.
"Notitia" Stalane whispered as she scanned the dera's information.
According to what she have read, the domain boss is a rank 5D. It is a two higher rank than the illusion Cuazenta they've faced before. If she could defeat this, that could also just mean that she also technically defeated a real 2E Cuazenta.
Stalane can't help but feel more excited. She gripped her bow tighter as she stared at the Merapeto Nymph.
She put her skill, Blast on Hit, on the arrow she released. The arrow failed to pierce on the dera's body as it was fast enough to dodge the arrow. The arrow hit the ceiling instead. Nevertheless, it did still inflicted some damage to the dera as it got caught by the explosion.
Stalane just repeatedly used the skill Blast on Hit on every arrow she releases. However, she haven't noticed yet that she was actually having a hard time than she originally thought.
Now, there's only 19 hours left before the subquest of the two reach its deadline.
