Power: Insanity Inducement - John can cause madness in a person or group of people that have no mental illness withith a 10 meter radius, victims may go slightly loopy or lose total grip of reality becoming delusional, lose control over themselves, paranoid, catatonic or hostile. When in a extremely stressful situation, the potency of his ability increases but the range stays the same. If the victim already has a mental illness, John's ability would cause it to worsen.
Limitation:
-John has no control over his ability.
-His ability range is 10 meters
-His ability is a gradual effect, so if noticed affected victims can leave his range before becoming too mentally damaged. But depending how close John is, the effects would begin at a faster rate.
-Once his victim becomes insane, mad, or hostile, John would also be attacked.
Manifestation of Madness:
Once John experiences something that reminds him of the time his ability awakened, John's ability strengthens, but instead of increasing the potency of his ability, the potent insanity and madness is absorbed into his body. Once it's absorbed, John's body loses control and breaks down, causing John to mutate into a monster that does nothing but destroy, infect, and drive others into insanity. Looking at this form will cause the onlookers to experience the similar changes. If they are lucky the onlooker would die immediately. If John is killed while in the form his corpse will produce a single, pure black, pupil-less eye with red veins. Once this item is consumed, the consumer inherits John's ability, but will also have the inclination to go insane.
Limitation:
-John has lost every bit of his rationality. He is no longer considered human.
Background: John Doe was originally born in France, but moved to LA when he was three, and lived with his family till the age of four. The night John manifested his ability, John's family went insane and ripped each other apart.
