His yelps were amidst pain and fear. Every of his moves looked like acts of desperation.

"What the heck is he doing? Has he been doing that for long?" He asked Meryl.

"Two hours, more or less." She calmly replied.

It took a moment for Oswald to understand it was partly Meryl's doing. He asked. "That's your illusion thing? Are you doing it right now? What is he seeing to run like a fool?" More questions rained as she nodded to his questions.

"The barn, again, and again." Each time Adelmo made a strange move, she described every sort of mime he was picturing.

"He opens the front doors, finds the herd, passes through it and goes to the rear door. He opens it and finds the herd anew, both in front and behind him. Now he tries to break a wall with the spade fork, that's his third time doing that, he's wasting a lot of stamina..."
