After hours of agonizing pain, his consciousness emerged from hell. His fast breathing pace and lost look enhanced the surprise effect on his face. He had difficulties to move his eyes around, his neck and the muscles on his face. Everything but his bone was brand new.
Of course he remembered it all. The excruciating pain that crawled in between his brain's many folds was backed up by the last image he had before almost dying. He had not suffered from the divine sight. It was too fast for his brain to relay the information. He fainted on the spot before he could understand what had happened to his body.
Still, the fear now lingering into his mind was intense. Too intense. It lacked the other essence for transformation, anger.
