Seeing Yeshua not leaving angered the giant spirit beast. It bared its fangs as it roared and posed its body in an intimidating manner.
Yeshua was really dumbfounded by this spirit beast. "The heck! This bastard even knows how to posture? Do you take me for a child that I'll be intimated by your fangs?"
Looking at the giant type spirit beast in front of him reminded Yeshua of its information. This spirit beast was one of the variants of the orc species.
Forest Orc: Level 1 – Type: Giant – Species: Orc – Affinity: Earth – Attributes: high defense, strong strength, poor speed
Abilities: Heavy Punch, Stone Club, Stone Skin, Ground Smash
These green skinned giants had strong bodies. Their strength was complemented by their strength oriented abilities. Their heavy punch and stone club had compressed weight that those who were struck felt like they were hit by a big boulder. Their stone skin made these giants very difficult to damage and breaking through their defense would require powerful attacks. Their ground smash could be unleashed through stomping their foot on the ground but it could also be combined with heavy punch and stone club.
The Forest Orc in front of Yeshua had a bulky body that reached two and a half meters. It also had dark green skin that was coarse like a rock. With two arms and two legs, while standing erect, aside from its ferocious face that had protruding lower fangs, it could be seen its resemblance to humans. It was even wearing a loincloth made from animal hide.
The humans in this world learned to classify spirit beasts based on their similar characteristics. They separated the spirit beasts into four different types which were animal type, bug type, plant type, and giant type.
Giant type was a classification for spirit beasts that had humanoid giant bodies. If not because of the unique characteristics of spirit beasts that could be found in the giant types, they could be mistaken as mutated humans.
Some people believed that giant type spirit beasts were off-springs of the mythical beasts with spirit inept humans. Of course, the pride of humans would not allow them to accept that the barbaric giant type spirit beasts would be considered humans.
Likewise, Yeshua would not want to be associated with this shameless barbaric forest orc in front of him.
"This scoundrel… Do you think that because you can feel that my cultivation is lower than yours, it means that I'm weaker than you? Heh, this handsome wolf will trash that gorilla face of yours!"
Yeshua could feel that the strength of the forest orc was at Stage 2 of Level 1. Maybe because of that, the forest orc was trying to intimidate him and snatch his hunt. The forest orc did not know that Yeshua was confident that he could match it since he had elite rank strength.
Remembering his battle with Grey, Yeshua made sure that he would not let himself commit mistakes that would endanger his life again. Preparing to charge at the forest orc, Yeshua gathered the wind around his body.
Wind Dash!
Blue winds surrounded Yeshua like a cape as he felt the massive increase of his speed. He then dashed towards the forest orc leaving a dust trail.
Yeshua shortened his distance with the forest orc very quickly. By then, the forest orc already realized that it was not able to intimidate Yeshua.
Roar!
The forest orc roared then it pulled its rocky right arm and smashed it at Yeshua. Yeshua felt the air around him get heavy as the powerful force of the punch bore at him. It was not an arm that was coming to him but a falling boulder!
Heavy Punch! Bang!
The air burst apart and dust swirled around as the heavy punch arrived at the position of Yeshua but Yeshua was not there. He was able to evade it!
Yeshua stepped to the right side of the forest orc, and then he used his speed to circle behind it. He flashed his claws and slashed them at the back of the orc one after another.
Shua! Shua! Shua! Shua!
The forest orc felt the attacks of Yeshua. It turned around while bashing his whole left arm towards its back. Yeshua already saw it coming, so he stopped his attacks and distanced himself from the forest orc. When it completely turned around, the green beast roared ferociously and glared at Yeshua with obvious anger.
"This beast really has thick skin. My attacks only shallowly injured it. No wonder it's shameless!" Yeshua was really annoyed by this beast that he could not help but mock it.
Though Yeshua was able to connect his attacks to the forest orc, the damage he dealt was only minimal. The green stone skin of the forest orc was really very hard. Yeshua's ordinary claw attacks were not enough to seriously damage it.
It was different from what happened to the savage beast. This was the difference between a spirit beast and a savage beast. The body of the spirit beasts was empowered by spirit genes while the tough body of the savage beasts was due to its natural growth.
The forest orc snorted angrily as it raised its right arm. The spirit particles gathered to its hand and gradually formed a solid object. After a while, the forest orc held a hefty stone club in its right hand. The stone club was almost half the size of the forest orc. The forest orc was swinging it around like it was showing it off to Yeshua. The green beast even sneered at him.
"This bastard… Are you a child that you like to show off your toys? And what's with that sneer? Are you looking down on me because you have something big? Do you think that because your weapon is bigger you're better? Let me tell you, it's about performance! I'll show you as I tear you with my small claws!"
Yeshua was really annoyed by this shameless beast. He really wanted to tear that smug smile on its face with his claws. Gathering the wind around him, Yeshua became a blue flash as he dashed towards the forest orc.
The forest orc struck Yeshua with its stone club. Yeshua suddenly felt his body slowed down as a weight bore on his body. This was different from the heavy punch before as it was only full of violent strength. Whereas, the stone club was releasing a gravitational force that weighed down its target.
Though the smashing club slowed him down, Yeshua remained calm as he continued his dash. Before the hefty club reached him, Yeshua's body flickered leaving an afterimage. It was Elusive Presence!
Boom!
The stone club was smashed to the ground and crashed it. Cracks could be seen on the ground as debris scattered around violently. Amidst the spreading dust, Yeshua suddenly appeared behind the forest orc.
With claws covered with whirling blue wind, Yeshua slashed his claws fiercely to the back of the forest orc unleashing his wind claws.
Slash! Slash!
Wind blades tore the back of the forest orc this time. Blood spurted from the wounds as the sharp claws cracked the tough stony skin of the green beast. Yeshua was successful in inflicting damage to the forest orc.
Roar!
Painful roars escaped the mouth of the shocked forest orc. It did not expect that the small animal it was intimidating could damage it.
Yeshua did not stop. As the forest orc turned around, he distanced himself a few steps then he unleashed another round of wind blades. The forest orc was showered by sharp winds and did not have a choice but to raise its stone club in defense.
The forest orc roared furiously as it charged at Yeshua while shielding itself with its stone club. Though the forest orc was slow, each of its steps was very heavy that the ground shook and cracked. Yeshua could feel the air vibrate because of the force of the charging forest orc.
Yeshua was taking a distance from the forest orc when suddenly it threw the stone club towards him. The forest orc seemed to realize that it was not a match of Yeshua in terms of speed so it used its stone club to attack him from the distance. The stone club was crashing towards Yeshua like a speeding meteorite.
Yeshua was surprised by the approaching attack. "This green head is not only shameless but also crafty! You bastard, can you not throw your big thing at me? I don't like it!"
Using his wind dash to further increase his speed, Yeshua tried to evade the attack. He again felt the slowing effect of the hefty force the stone club was releasing.
Boom!
The stone club crashed to the ground and exploded it producing debris and dust.
Though the unexpected attack was hard to dodge, Yeshua was still able to evade it using his superior speed. But suddenly, amid the floating dust that blurred the place, a giant shadow arrived at the side of Yeshua!
Yeshua was shocked this time. But before he was able to react, the giant shadow stomped its big foot on the ground.
Ground Smash! Boom!
Another explosion cracked the ground as a disorienting earthquake shook everything around. Though Yeshua was able to flash away from its epicenter using his speed, the quaking still affected him.
During the shaking of the ground, the forest orc continued its charge towards Yeshua. It could be seen that the green beast was an experienced hunter as it knew how to deal with creatures faster than it. Yeshua saw it coming but it was getting hard for him to move because of the quaking ground.
It would still take a couple of seconds before the ground stopped shaking but the forest orc was already bearing at Yeshua.
