Anna laughed.
Kristofer's proposal left her uncertain whether he was telling the truth or if it was a bluff.
She couldn't make up her mind about that fact and it left her completely speechless.
"Having a picture with you once and our paths crossing a few times made you think I would say yes to this? Shouldn't you make a deal out of it? What's in it for me?"
Kristofer Almodiel sat back against the seat once more, his eyes never leaving Anna. He somehow expected her reaction.
In the few times that they met, he was able to pick up some response patterns from Anna and her consistency amuses him.
"I knew you would say that. Of course, I wouldn't drop this bomb on you if there's nothing for you. That would be unfair. That's probably what you're thinking, right?"
