With her uncertainty about how to move forward with Brett Prestman, she stayed the night. Being back home allowed her to feel relaxed.
Lately, her mind has been bombarded with thoughts of Kristofer Almodiel, the proposal and a bleak future of being an Almodiel.
Anna wanted to scream. What did she even get herself into? Why did she have to say yes? Would saying no save her from all her troubles?
Maybe. But when Anna thinks about it, it doesn't make much of a difference. Whether she says yes or no, she'd still be troubled thinking of all the what-ifs.
