The sunlight rays glimmered as they caressed inside the room and sat on my face. I was awake but it was a lazy day for me. I still felt the frustration.
In the meantime, a prying thought kicked me. How could I forget that Edward didn't return last night? Even though I had waited a long time until my eyes drew warm and itched so much.
The lingering thought pushed me out of the bed. I sneaked to the bathroom and washed my face. Looking into the mirror, I saw that salt dried at the corner of my eyes, rubbing them down, the spot burned so bad as I hit the water on my face again.
Drying my face, I brushed my hair and gave it a messy braid because I was too lazy to look good. Anyways, it didn't matter! He hated me in any way.
