A bit of sparkle interrupted me. Kneeling on the ground, I brushed the mud away with a piece of poor thin stick. The red hue grew more and more.
Bo sat beside me, picking the red shiny sharp scale under a piece of fabric.
"Well done, Tania." He smiled gently.
"What is that? A fish scale?"
He nodded at my question but it was big for a fish scale.
"And a proof that we have a powerful wraith here, sneaking underground." Delun finished.
"Here, I found three of it."
Enammer pointed to the water where he was standing and his leather boots were half soaked in the water.
He walked out near us, handing the rest of the scales to Bo, and added, "It already left here in a human shape."
Others' faces went in awe but my eyes circled out of terror. If the Numazu wraith had taken a body, now it was able to live among the folk and no one could discover what it was until transformed to its previous shape.
