Rosey looked under her feet, she was still on a plant, a giant plant, her heart seized it's beat.
"Acker!"she yelled out to him, he stirred and the plant almost lose it's balance and form.
It seemed as if he was controlling the plant himself.
She was too panicked to notice some police officers coming towards her direction.
The dogs were all barking uncontrollably, Acker took heavy breaths and used the steam of the plant to whip the dogs, till they kept quiet.
The plant ascended, Acker was showing no difficulty in controlling the plant.
He elevated the plant, Rosey held unto a petal in fright, saying her last prayers.
She quenched her eyes, afraid to look up, but fortunately the plant stopped moving, she slowly opened her eyes, to realise that she was on a tree branch with Acker.
"Was he actually controlling that plant or was I hallucinating?"she thought.
The police officers ran to the dogs, but the dogs stayed behind a tree whimpering in fear.
The perplexed policemen looked around, searching for clues.
Acker closed his eyes and opened them, the tree branches started to shake and all the leaves fell on the policemen.
"What the...."A policeman was saying, he looked above him, but more leaves fell on him.
He along with the other cops retreated, but they had no shade to hide under, they took to their heels.
Rosey had her hand on her mouth the entire time, determined not to make a sound.
Acker held her hand, startling her, he gave her a reassuring look, she calmed down her tensed nerves at his gorgeous eyes.
She was ready for whatever he wanted to do.
He held her wrist firmly and jumped out of the tree!
Rosey screamed her head off.
She looked below, "we are dead!"she yelled.
Although they would not die, they would get hurt badly and get arrested.
Well, she'd get arrested.
But the oddest thing happened, a huge plant shot out of the ground, which they landed on.
Another shot out of the ground, the plants created a kind of stepping stone for them.
They jumped from plant to plant, till they got out of the woods.
Rosey looked behind her and all the plants fell down and disintegrated.
She widened her eyes at that, then tilted her head to look at Acker properly.
He pulled her along, they both ran from the dogs that were chasing them.
She knew he wouldn't be doing any more displays and thought to help their situation.
She jumped at the road they had ran to and stopped a moving car.
The car owner was an elderly man, who looked like he had seen a ghost.
"Please help"Rosey said to him.
"Get in!"he said.
She pushed Acker inside the car, and the old man started the car.
"What is this box you have placed me inside!"he demanded to know.
"it's a car boy, am not so old not to know that"he said.
He kept on looking at Rosey through the rear view mirror.
Rosey grew self conscious immediately.
The man whipped out his phone and looked into the screen. He looked at Rosey then at the phone, he half smiled and changed his course.
Acker held unto his seatbelt in fear.
"The box moves so fast!"he said, Rosey had a sixth sense that told her that something was amiss.
She peeped at his phone and her suspicions were not far fetched.
"He's going to turn me in, he's heading straight to the city"Rosey thought.
She wanted to call on Acker and ask him to do some of the things he did before but he was too tensed to focus.
"Stop the car!"she said, grabbing the attention of both men.
"What is it?"Acker asked.
"I have to pee"Rosey said.
The old man shrugged, "can it not wait?"The old man asked still driving.
"I wouldn't want to pee on your car seat"Rosey said and the man pulled over immediately.
"Let's go"she said to Acker.
"I don't need to release, am good"he said, she blushed at him say release.
"Yes you do, we have a long drive ahead of us"she said eyeing him, trying to pass a message.
She got out of the car, and opened his door, "come on now"she said, her hand stretched out.
"Why are you making these awkward faces at me? What do you want to say?"Acker asked her sheepishly.
The old man caught a whiff of her plan and opened the door to pull her into the car.
She pushed the door closed and ran away, Acker sat in the car, as confused as ever.
"What is going on?"he asked from inside, but he got no reply.
Rosey ran, but was slowly loosing breath and stamina, against an old man!
"Those burgers and noodles are starting to have a down side"she whined.
She ran towards the car, not looking back, she planned to jump into the car and drive away.
The old man drew out his hand to yank her hair but got a car door to the face instead.
Acker opened the door in peplexion, the door hit the old man's head so hard that he collapsed.
"Oh no!"Rosey said under her breath.
She didn't want to add murder to her list, she was panicking, so much so that she couldn't drive.
"Did we just kill this man?"Rosey inquired, panicking, mumbling to herself, her fingers shaking uncontrollably.
Acker got down from the car, and got on one knee, he placed two fingers on his neck to check his pulse.
"He's still alive, well he's barely pulling through"Acker said.
"What! Am so dead!"she said to herself.
While she tried to think, Acker said some inaudible things, she looked at him and her jaw dropped.
He placed both hands on the old man's chest and Acker's veins got so tight, it seemed like they would pop out.
He closed his eyes and kept his hand on the old man's chest.
A little light was visible, Rosey took a step back, she was alarmed and frightened.
"What the..."
The old man moved his fingers, and then his feet, he was slowly regaining consciousness.
Rosey could not believe her eyes.
"You doubted me before right?"he asked her chuckling.
"This is the power of the blood plant"he said.
"We have to leave before he can stand up"Acker said and got on his two feet, he seemed a little weaker. He pulled Rosey by the wrist and they ran away before anyone could get them.
"We can't run, you look too weak"Rosey said.
"But we need to leave and hide"Acker said.
"There is a way"Rosey said.
Acker looked at her confused at what she was implying.
She used her eyes to gesture the car, he looked at what her eyes were pointing at and shrugged.
"Not the moving box..."he said under his breath.
