After Francis and Sasan had left the council's chambers, the members whom represented their individual sects, began deliberating on solutions to cogent matters which entails random issues concerning the livelihood and fate of each sect that needed to be curtailed with a remedy that would be beneficial to the plebs of that sects as well as the council which preside over the plebs of that particular sect. There were nine representatives that formed the council, which were delegated powers from their home cities except Zek tribe, to represent their rulers and their sect in the entire realm of Asteria, including the host city of Wintera that had Makom as its representative.
They decided to deliberate on urgent matters first while those issues that could be solved later were set aside in order to lessen their burden of preparing daily reports at each council meeting. Vedon's threat of attacking Ataxia was first tabled by Helek, an Agekian delegate, for the council to decide what proper action to take against Zek dark warriors led by no other than Vedon himself. The Agekians had earlier sent him to represent them when they weren't in fear of being invaded and utterly destroyed by the Zek warriors due to the fact that Harus hasn't yet stolen their soul stone from them which the Agekians aren't aware of while Helek was on his way to Wintera where the next council meeting will be held. An urgent message was sent to him while he was waiting in Wintera for the meeting day to arrive, about the stolen soul stone which has made them powerless and defenceless as well as being vulnerable to any attack that maybe organized by an external enemy.
"I suggest we all send sufficient troops to assist the Agekians that desperately need your help in protecting their people against those barbarians who seek to destroy and make them extinct from the realm. Right now as we speak, the Zek troops are marching on to conquer that land", Helek pleaded desperately and vehemently since his kinsmen are in grave danger,
"I understand your pains but right now there's a lot of internal discord that has deep rooted its root into the minds
of both rulers and plebs alike and we need our fighters to curb this issue that is tearing Dracux city apar", the Dracuxian representative named Joal answered him while another delegate from the Minimus sect named Parl also spoke out,
"I will try to send a message to my chief about it because he alone has the full authority to carry out such action. And to members present here right now, it would be beneficial for all of us if we or some of us volunteer to support them in this fight since we all depend on the island of Ataxia which includes the food and herbs naturally and abundantly present in that small island. We must do this in order to halt Vedon's advancement so that we'll checkmate his conquest and preventing him from controlling the rich food source which he will selfishly used for his tribes alone",
"I totally disagree with you on this issue", Sercon, another delegate from the Avilon sect situated at the northeastern part of the realm, retorted and continued,"I think we don't know who we are up against and we have greatly underestimate Vedon who had already anticipated our move beforehand while preparing a strategy to win every conquest against the sect in the realm. And don't you think the strategy is way too obvious for us to follow which may lead to catastrophe if not revised",
"So you mean we shouldn't send troops to assist them in defending their home as well as the island which will help us boost our markets especially Tyron that is struggling to revive the city after many moons of disastrous outbreak of bubonic plagues. Don't you know that helping the Ataxians is the same thing as protecting yourself from being attacked? And aren't you. fully aware that if Vedon's forces overthrew them while you fold your hands and do nothing but sit back to protect your own sect, it will turn around and stab you in the back because once Vedon capture that island, the island will serve as their base of operations as well as their supply center that will enable them to prepare for a long term war against the other tribes in the realm?", Syclar analytically questioned promptly as he stood up at once but Makom ordered him to sit down again.
"That's not what I meant when I made that statement earlier and you have grossly misunderstood me. What I meant is that we will send the troops as planned but we should come up with a good strategy that the enemy isn't aware of in order to catch the enemy off guard", Sercon replied instantly,
"And what is this strategy", a voice of another delegate from the far end of the meeting ground,asked Sercon intrusively which made him turn his head towards the direction of the voice who turned out to be Argien from Sargus sect,"You are right when you say we need a strategy unknown to the enemy but such strategy needs to devised immediately because we don't have enough time to waste here drawing up too many plans. So if anyone has a strategy in mind, he should say it now without no delay because the more we spend time discussing this issue, the more the Zek troops draw closer to Ataxia",
"Okay all right, it has been decided that we will send messages to inform our sect that Ataxia will soon be under attack and we need to send reinforcements to help them defend the island. Each sect should send a minimal of hundred troops to serve as reinforcement, bringing the number to nine hundred troops
to be sent altogether since we still need to guard each of our respective sects. This will be done immediately after this meeting ends in order to catch up with time and they should have create a headquarter the moment they arrived at the island", Makom said and continued,"Then
all that remains is the best strategy to adopt in this first open battle against them which. will decide the tidal course of the war",
"Yes, we should now bring out fresh ideas so who among us has any strategy to suggest in order for us to be fully prepared for battle. This strategy should help reduce casualties and increase damages to the enemy troops", Argien affirmed,
"Why don't we secretly select some troops to infiltrate the island without prior warning to the enemy's knowledge together with the Agekians and let loose those Red-eaters making them to freely roam the island without constraints. The Red-eaters will delay them from penetrating deep into the island while we move our warriors into the island while they are busy dealing with the Red-eaters who will trouble them which will buy us some time but not for a long time.
After that,we can setup headquarters inside the heart of the Agekians who will provide us details about secre routes in and out of the forest so that we can lay ambush on this secret route", Syclar suggested immediately,
"That's a good idea but we don't know how to control the Red-eaters which I heard are very dangerous and fierce which makes them unsuitable in order to achieve this plan because their ferocity makes them uncontrollable whenever someone gets close to them. This ignite them to attack without mercy and fiercely against such individual tearing he or she up limb from lim so we need to figure out a better way to control them if we want this plan to succeed", Sercon said not totally convince by the whole idea which seems too risky to pull off.
"There's no need to worry about that, only the Agekians know their weakness and how to use it to fully take control of them whenever we want to keep out a wandering eater who had left its own red forest and entered into the green forest in order to forage for food. So I will personally trained the spies in order to ensure outmost secrecy", Helek said with a gleam of hope across his face which made it radiant.
"Now that we've taken care of the strategy which will be used for the battle, we are to ensure we seal our lips and maintain outmost secrecy about it. Do you understand?", Makom asked aloud to ensure his orders wee all heard and adhere to.
"Yes!, we all do understand totally well!", the council members except Makom answered loudly,
"Okay that's enough now. Now we move to the next issue about another threat developing in Tyron and only its representative can explain to us in full details of the current situation that is brewing all over Tyron", Makom said and signal Syclar to stand up erect while he gives an audible report concerning Tyron which he had analyse with ease.
"Thank you, your grace. Without wasting much time, I want to inform you all that another threat is currently developing and its mastermind is none other than the ignorant Akanon", Syclar reported which made the rest of the council members look back in terror.
