Sarah had long been in correspondence with Francis when she met him during the graduation ceremony until he began having serious traumatic seizures which almost ruin his life which was caused by the bad energy intertwined with his inner chi, and would have end his life if not for his aunt who came to his rescue by taking him to a neurologist who operates and own a psychiatry center for people who have mental health problems. He was later taken home while his aunt would often skip work just to tend to his needs which often strain her a lot. Eventually, his aunt invited another psychologist to find out what is the problem but all to no avail. However, Francis shared some details concerning his nightmares with the psychologist, that he sometimes see a strange creature trying to help another one who is in captivity of a wild beast in an underground cell including some memories of his father whom he never saw. The psychologist could only pinpoint a certain aspects that relate to the strange occurrences which involves unknown mysteries about his late father. Then it was decided that he alone should go to his father's hometown in order to find out what's actually caused his trauma and unceasing nightmares.
Francis, before the traumas and the nightmare started to surface, was spending some quality time with Sarah as they normally hangout at the rocky side of the beach together with some other couples and there, they would chitchat on numerous topics concerning their varied lifestyle including their favorite meal, color and even sports which surprisingly is her number one hobby. They even go out on short date as they called it, during the evenings after work whereby they go to a coffee shop to grab a something to drink as well as eat some snacks mixed with cakes while they discuss about work affairs and a lot of boring stuff but both of them enjoyed it. Although Sarah was a bit popular among other renowned journalist in the city, she has never boast of her achievements to people she fruitfully attain through rigorous hard work and was never proud of it since she see it as a blessing from her Maker who was kind enough to shower her hardwork with success to achieve greater heights far more than where she is now.
Sarah was a pretty and beautiful lady in her mid-twenties who attracted the attention of many male colleagues where she work, but she didn't pay attention to them since she was only focused on carrying out her assigned duty as a journal editor as well as a printer operator whenever there is much work to be done in that aspect of work. This made a lot of staff worker who were male see her as a workaholic and a lesbian who never pay enough attention to their irrelevant but seductive conversations which she always avoid each time she notices it. But she had quite a good number of female friends that she rarely hangout with because Francis was still available so she needn't disappoint him beside she always enjoy his company each time they hangout together. A close friend of hers named Ruth who also worked with her, coincidentally met them at a coffee shop downtown which almost startled Sarah who was dumbstruck while Francis looked confused because there wasn't any need for her to be so shocked like that. Ruth was also overwhelmed by the scene because Sarah had never showed any sign of having a boyfriend let alone a male friend whom she happens to know back in her college days at St. Ambrose College. Sarah sincerely begged her not to tell anyone about especially her coworkers who would tease unceasingly of having a secret male friend they aren't aware of, which Ruth forcefully agreed not to inform anyone about it because she felt bad that she had turned down her offer each time to spend some evening time together whenever she asked her to join her for a meal or two.
Ruth also asked her whether she might have fallen in love with Francis which she vehemently denied but her actions prove otherwise each time she joined them for a couple of drinks or two. As time went by, the traumas and scary nightmares began to surface in Francis' life which made him unable to spend time with her
before he was hospitalized in a psychiatry center. This made him lost contact with Sarah for some time before she later found out what happened to him which made her desvastated and sad but she pulled through because of Ruth who motivated her to overcome her suffering in order to help lessen the Francis' pain which she did whenever she visited him in hospital with some food stuff she prepared herself. The dire situations Francis went through had a tremendous impact on her social life as she no longer smiled with anyone else and would always feel downcast as well as bored each time she hangs out with Ruth together with other female coworkers at every stressful workdays, and who would try to cheer her up by having evening parties but to no avail since Ruth occasionally caught her sobbing in the bathroom where no can see her.
Ruth sometimes try to make her feel better by saying that Francis would become better and be cured of his mental illness which would enable her to be lively again. Sarah began realizing that she had really loved him for her to feel so down and to miss him so much that she crave for his presence everytime after working hours of the day. She visited Francis almost every day before he was taken back to his aunt's house where he was given private treatment from a psychologist who did recommend that he should go find out answers by tracing the origins of his father because most of the nightmares that he had were all related to Ranus' journey, together with some other teammates to find the sword of Zoa.
Sarah eventually lost contact with him when he left to his hometown in search of answers that will help him find out solutions to his problems. He had begged his aunt not to inform Sarah about his trip in order for her not to accompany him there so that he alone could solve this problem but she later found out two months after he had gone away to Egbo community where his father had dwelt before migrating to Benin where he got married to his mother. Due to the Ruth's advice and the late arrival of the news, made Sarah changed her mind to follow him there and to move on with her life as advised by Ruth which she took after much persuasion.
A sudden knock on the door promptly brought Francis back from memory lane into the present which made him realize that he was still on the bed and the dim sunlight had brighten up fading most of the moonlight around the room. The knock sounded again which startled him the second time and he replied at once
"Is that you Sasan? You can come in now", He said after covering sensitive part of his body with his loin cloth when he has gotten up from the bed.
"Okay master but I just want to tell you that the servants have prepared your bath and it's almost time for your breakfast which will be served together with those members living here, that are from the Wols clan at the fourth room which I will show you after you are done taken your bath", Sasan replied behind the huge door.
"Alright then, thanks alot for informing me about it", Francis answered and said, " You can enter if you want to",
"No thanks master, I have to attend to some tasks Zari ordered me to carry out before she comes back", Sasan answered again and left. Francis thought of what to do as he walked out by the door to the hallway which took him past many huge doors which he kept wondering why they had to build such kind of doors inside as if to protect and store great number of cartons as well as huge sacks filled with huge amount of seeds. He passes by two rooms that led to the room prepared for his bath and quietly opened the door which creaked echoing in the silent hallway.
Then he went inside and shut the door which echoed again breaking the serene silence in the hallway and moved closer to the hot pool that emitted large fumes of fresh smoke all round the room. A styled cloth which Francis presume to be a towel was hung on a tall iron stand while some clothes were prepared beside the pool. He moved forward and slowly entered the pool which calmly refreshed his nerves as well as his mind that was filled with vague thoughts that almost gave him an headache. As he gently relaxed by the side of the pool, he saw an ointment beside the clothes which emitted sweet fragrance that filled the whole room and then, he said to himself,
"This is very good and refreshing if only I can stay here much longer and never leave this place.
