After Titus was lead into the upper levels of the castle, the four kings lead him into the foundry.
"Why on God's green earth would you bring me to a foundry?" Titus exclaimed to the Kings.
The Blacksmith then nodded to the kings who then each spilt their blood into four sword casts. The swords then immediately cooled and they shone will a brilliance he had never seen before.
"Is it time now?" King Mao said impatiently to King Washington.
"Yes, you power-hungry moron, it is time to tell Titus why he is here," Washington responded with annoyance in his voice.
"Titus, my friend, you are here because you are going to rule diplomacy between the kingdoms!" Plato said with a child-like enthusiasm.
"Rule diplomacy? What in the world does this mean?" Titus said, nearly soiling his trousers.
King Mao then stepped up to give Titus the full story: "Last year an eccentric Cult claimed the entire continent for their master. They called him The General of Chaos. We decided that lunatics such as them should be delt with. We were very mistaken in thinking they were just lunatics. They had an army the likes of which could devour a city in seconds. My army barely survived the assault on Dragonrock, and from their accounts, the other kings experienced the same. We got together and decided to forge swords that would allow us to lead our armies against them. Now that their army is in retreat, we sent for you. We intend to build a Grand Capital out of the Silver mountain. You will rule as regent from there. You will settle disputes between our four kingdoms and you will be tasked with keeping the army strong and keeping the Cult at bay."
"Ok, I can definitely do that, but I have one question. Why did you choose me?"
Plato quickly interjected, "BECAUSE YOU ARE THE GREAT RESOLVER! We would not know about you if the people didn't talk about you. They speak of you everywhere, even in my own city! Your skills in diplomacy have given you quite the reputation."
"Ok, so of I am this 'Great resolver,' why would you need a diplomat? You four seem to get along pretty well with each other."
Washington then stated, "No we do not get along nicely."
Bonaparte said with his standard prideful tone, "It's true. These men are animals compared to you and I."
"Well is there anyone here who everyone at least respects? Because seemingly none of you respect each other."
Mao was quick to correct Titus.
"We respect you, and King Plato. You because you're a necessity, Plato because he is wiser than all of us combined."
"WAIT, YOU FOUR ARE THE LIEUTENANTS OF MICHAEL!"
"The former General of Peace. You are supposed to be the Soul of Hope, or Man of Hope."
Just then, Plato's court mage ran into the room.
"Cromwell has returned and he is amassing his army. The Cult follows him."
Titus and the kings gave their cautious glances, then set their sights on the Silver Mountain.
