I played with my white hair for some time and stared into my eyes. *I'm not crazy. I swear. But what the hell happened to me?*
I left the mirror and went to bed. I closed my eyes and waited for sleep. It never came. *Why did they even include a bed in the first place if I'm never going to use it?*
I layed in bed for who knows how long until I got bored and walked around the house.
In the middle, we have the living room. Couch, rug, and a coffee table. That's it. Oh! And the bed in the corner. *Why put it there?*
On the left, we have the library which was filled to the brim with books.
On the right...Nothing! That's the whole damn house!
*Why is this place so small?* I wondered
I decided to look around the library. The library had books of all colors and in the middle there was a big cushioned chair. I looked at the covers of the books and saw that many of them were books on anatomy. The heart mostly. But one stuck out the most. It was called "Love Potion". I pulled it out and the whole shelf opened up with it.
I popped my head in. A hallway leading to who knows where was lit up by some torches. *In a scary movie, the watcher would be yelling at the stupid girl "Don't go in there! You'll die". But I'm already dead so that doesn't apply to me"
I creeped in and followed the hallway. At the end, there was a huge portal that swirled with a light purple and pink hue. I stuck my hand in and out of it. It had left some pink dust on it but other than that, it was fine.
*I should probably leave this alone for now* I decided and went back to the house.
I looked out the window and saw a vast world of winged people and white clouds. The obvious shebang when you think of heaven. But I wasn't fooled. Their pretty faces held hate towards me. I was going to figure out the truth behind all of this.
I walked out of the house and went back to the stadium where I was summoned. I saw Zeus sitting in his VIP area. I walked over and said "Hey! I have questions"
He looked at me with obvious disgust but quickly covered it up with a plastic smile.
"Of course! I will answer as many as you want" he said "Come and sit with me" and patted the seat next to him.
"Yeah. No." I said and stood above him "I will stay standing"
"Fine" he said dismissively
"First, I want to know what I am supposed to do here" I said
"What you are supposed to be doing? Nothing" he said "just stay out of the way of the others"
"Okay. Why did the last God of Love die? And how?" I asked
Zeus's face turns dark and said "That man was not doing his job right and was getting too powerful." He looked up at me and said "If you do anything to anger us, you will be punished as well"
"Trust me, being around you jerks is the last thing I want" I replied "Now tell me, as the Goddess of Love, what am I able to do?"
"You create love and joy to others. But for now, we have no need for you" he said
"But then there will be no 'love and joy' in the world" I said sarcastically
He glared at me and asked "Anything else?"
"Just one more question. Why did my appearance change?" I motioned towards my face
"Oh. That must have been when you were summoned here. I struck you with lightning to kill you." He said smugly
*Why does your face say that you'd do it again in an instant?*
"Is that all?" He asked
I debated on whether telling him about the secret portal or not.
"No. I'm good" I said and walked towards the house
I decided that the portal was a secret for a reason and he would be the last person to tell.
I was busy thinking about the portal as I walked and didn't notice someone in front of me until I ran them over.
"Oof." I rubbed my nose "sorry, my bad"
"Don't worry about it" the girl I ran into said
I looked up and froze in place.
"You…"
She looked down and said "Yeah. Me"
"You're the one who was with my ex"
