"I didn't know who else to go to, he just fainted without warning. I know we've been friends since middle school. So Roy would you help me out?"
"Well Naomi what kinda man would just ignore a girl at his doorstep." Naomi gave Roy a glare. "hey I was just joking. sheesh kill a man with that glare of yours kitty."
Roy lead her in his home and showed them to a spar bedroom. "You could use this room, feel free to use whatever. You should remember where everything is Naomi. I'll get a doctor to come over here in a few. Keep a eye on him." Naomi nodded her head. She laid Alex's body on the bed. She then went to rip his shirt off, well what's left of a shirt. She notices the area of bruises. "They really did some numbers on ya. Alex started to grumble and move in his sleep. Like he was talking to someone. He spouted something about forgiving him. "Sorry for leaving you alone." It all didn't make sense. He must be having a nightmare. Naomi couldn't stand seeing him in pain any longer.
She grabbed his hand and with a gentle squeeze. She sung a little lullaby and rubbed her hands through his hair.

Alex had seem to calm down. His grumbling stop. He looked really at peace. Naomi was just gazing at Alex when Roy interrupted. "Eh, here is the doctor." The Doctor came into the room. She looked at Alex's body and she sighed as she got to work. Roy and Naomi had went to the kitchen. "So I'm gonna take a guess and say Terumi did this?" Naomi just nodded. "I'm sure Terumi is in pretty bad shape too right?" Naomi nodded her head and spoke. "Not just Terumi, two other guys as well. He kicked their ass. It's just that Terumi didn't play far having 3 against 1. So I stepped in." Roy who was listening to his friend spit his water out.
You did what? Said Roy "I just helped him out is all~" She looked away from Roy for a second. Roy put his hands on the counter. "Jeez Naomi. Valkyries don't interfere with the gangs. Unless you are protecting the innocent." Naomi protested "he is innocent Roy."
"Please tell me your joking girl? The guy literally started this with the serpents! He's in bad shape because the people he's backing can't do shit about it. The guy literally has both princesses of both gangs in his pocket. The Serpent princess and the Dragon princess. If by some shitty luck he could have the most ruthless princesse with him, the Boar princess. Look all I'm saying is this dude is just fighting a war by himself. He's over his head.
"Well... maybe you're right. He probably is over his head. But he's new he just needs some friends Roy. Help him out would ya?"
Roy looked at Naomi and something was bothering him. No matter how much he tried to shake the feeling it stayed. Naomi never went this far for someone other than her friends. As far as he knew Alex was a stranger. But then it clicked. "Hey Naomi, be honest with me, do you like Alex?"
Naomi turned around "yeah I like him. He's pretty funny. I enjoy his company. I can tell he really cares about his friends. She said it with a sincere smile. "No girl I'm saying do you like him as to date Alex. Like romantically. Not asking him to a damn tea party."
She thought about what he said and remembered the first time she met Alex. She thought about it. Remembering her feelings. All the way until he was riding on the motorcycle. His smile when he found out everyone was safe. She started to turn a rosy color.
Roy walked over to Naomi and smiled. I'm happy for you. If you really want to help him then he can't just be doing this himself. He needs help like a lot.
The doctor came out into the kitchen and said his injuries are mild compared to what he could have had. Then she asked what caused him to have these injuries. Roy just replied a brawl with gangsters. Thanks again Doctor Lin.
"No problem Roy, I just wish the other fool would listen as well."
Who are you talking about doctor? Said Naomi.
"Nothing to be concerned about it's just another patient of mine.... well it's late I'm gonna head home." Roy lead her out.
Naomi went back into the room with Alex. She sat next to the bed. And held Alex's hand. "Weird..... me liking you in a romantic way. We probably spoke once. I guess you left a big impression on me. (She stroked his face) for some reason I really want to wake up. But I'm already awake.
10 minutes later
Roy was coming to check up on Alex and Naomi. Turned out she fell asleep right next to him. Good for her he thought. Roy had felt tired and went to his room and went to bed.
*The Other side of town*
"Hey do you really want to use this shit? It could kill you. Theirs no coming back from this shit. If you are really gonna do this. I got a special one for you then. The doc whipped this up not too long ago. It's called Oz for short. this doesn't come like the powder stuff. It's a needle"
Terumi's goon was concerned about him. In fact both of them were wide eyed. The liquid was Emerald color.
"I just need something to ease the pain in my shoulder. Just give me the damn thing. How many of these have you sold? If so, tell the rest of the guys to go back to the original stuff."
" I say around 7-9. I'll get right on that. No problem boss."
Terumi took the supplements and he seemed fine. He could not see what was the rave about it. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then it hit him. A sudden rush of burning sensation in his chest and arms. His throat was on fire. It felt good. His head felt dizzy. He couldn't keep his balance, and he fell to the ground. He had fainted.
*Roy's house The next morning*
"Hey" a voice said. Naomi wasn't responding to him. Instead she just started talking in her sleep. "Dad just a few more minutes." Alex started to scratch his head with his only free hand. "Well since you're not waking up." He started to poke her face. "Hey wake up Naomi!" She was still unresponsive. "You have to say the magic words." Alex thought to himself "really magic words?" The magic words he repeated it to himself. "Naomi please wake up?"
"Took you long enough." She Said with a giggle. It was like she was staring into his soul. She wasn't taking her eyes off him. It wasn't like he was looking away either. But his eyes were hurting so he winced. Are you ok she said in concern. He just nodded and said "yeah I just had my contacts in too long. "Contacts?" She Said Alex was starting to take out his contacts. " Yeah I tend to wear them because they draw too much attention." Naomi had a great view of it. One eye was an Ocean blue color and the other eye was a yellowish red color. More like an Amber color. "So pretty" she stated.
Alex asked about what happened and how he got here. Sorting out all the mess that went into yesterday. Naomi answered his questions as best as possible.
"Thanks for everything Naomi." Alex Said that as he was standing up. Roy heard the commotion and walked into the room. "Alex buddy you're awake!" Alex looked at Roy and smiled. "Thanks Roy for letting me recover here. I can't bring my mom into something like this again."
"Alex what do you mean again?" Said Roy with concern. Alex looked down trying to wonder if he can trust them. "Well you see... I'm part of the Fallen Sons. I been wondering if I could trust you guys. So I kept it to myself." Roy and Naomi both looked at each other. Their was a pause before anyone spoke.
Roy spoke first, "it makes sense. What kinda kid rides a motorcycle. Plus you have no problem talking back to adults." Naomi spoke next "what are you gonna do next Alex?"
