Chapter 1 - Paint it Black

In a bustling city, In a city that never sleeps. Blissful Adults with aspiration to one day live a peaceful life. Hopeful teens with dreams and fire in their eyes, along with desire. Look towards the street lights of the night to escape their pitiful life. In the nightlife of the city that never sleeps only pitiful ambitions await.

In a dark alleyway under one simple lamp post.

Thug#1 - hey girly. You want something to lift you up? Are you feeling down from taking tests all week?

Random high school girl#1 - hmmm? Maybe~ depends on what your offering? whatcha got?

Thug #1 - Hehe *he chuckles maliciously* you're going like this. Brand new product.

Thug#2 - This new stuff it's called Hearts Overdrive. Most people on the streets just call it Overdrive.

Random high school girl#2- is it like hard stuff, cause we don't want anything weak, yea~

Thug#2- Hell yea. Rumor has it. You get super powers. Hehe

Random high school girl #1- Give us the stuff. We're looking for a wild night.

Thug#1 heads off into what looks to be an abandoned building. The building looks to be a run down post office. The building is tagged up with random graffiti and graphic images.

He shortly comes out of the darkness and walks towards the girls.

Thug#2 Here you girls go. Come back anytime.

Random high school girls- Yess time to fuck some shit up~

The girls take their drugs and disappear into the darkness of the night.

(15 minutes pass)

*Cell phone rings *

Thug #2 - Yea, huh?.... really?..... when?.... can't you send the guys from 5th street. Ohh what stop joking? From... really the boss. Fine we'll get on it. But I'm not gonna guarantee that we gonna have him in one piece... yea..... ok..... bye.

Thug #1- so what's up?

Thug #2- We have to go get that wacko science teacher. I think they call him Argo.

Thug#1- why do we have to do it? Can't the guys from 5th street go?? It's like a lot of people that can go.

Thug #2- Would ya shut up. It's because he set off an explosive device and knocked out the boys on 5th. Plus it's a Order from the boss.

Thug #2- You think the Serpents are trying to get over on us. They know what will happened if they mess with the Bronze Boras. They tryin to Start a war or something?

Thug #2- Nah no freaking way. They know the deal. They have that wacko make the drugs and we sell'em. As long as those "Fallen sons" stay out of this city hell won't break loose. The stories I've heard about them. Let's just say we're chump change compared to them. International deals with private army type of stuff.

Thug #1- That biker gang? I thought they were just a biker gang. I've heard about them. At least I thought. Jeez they're no joke.

Thug #2- Since you understand. Get a move on, let's fuckin go!!

The thugs shortly leave and head to the last location of the wacko teacher. It immediately becomes a chase as the wacky teacher sets off explosives and gases to escape.

Thug #1 Hey!! Get back here! *coughing*

Argo- never! You guys aren't nothing but fuckin hypocrites. This wasn't an issue for me until you cross my rule. No children now fuck off.

*next day*

A young man rides into the city on his motorcycle. Looking for a destination that is all but new to him. Riding pass shops and people with unique skills and hair cuts. Roaming around for what feels like hours on end. He reaches his objective. What is his designation?

Young man- Wow must have been a long time since I've been home. I wonder if mom still looks the same. I definitely know she's going to kill me showing up a day or two late. Hopefully she lets me slide. Hehe *he awkwardly laughs*

As the young man takes in the scenery and takes off his shades. He noticed that people are starting to gather around the street. The way he's dressed up is drawing a lot of attention. The neighborhood is usually quiet and never gets strangers dressed like him. His wild black hair touched his eyes. He even had hair pins on the side of his hair to keep the rest from falling over. His ears were pierced with two hooped earrings on the right side. He wore a white shirt and a black leather jacket with the name Fallen son on it. He even has on black jeans with black boots.

*people in the back are chattering*

When finally a woman built up courage to step up and speak. She positions her small children behind her.

Middle aged woman- Hey. You gangsters are not allowed to be in this neighborhood. So can you please leave.

Older man- Yeah! You tell'em Ms. Reeves. As he cowardly hides behind his wife.

Older lady- *getting Annoyed by her husband* I already called the police. They should be here in a second.

The young man finally turns around and looks at the people in confusion?

Young man- Wait! what whyyy are you calling the cops?

Both of The children behind Ms. Reeves open their mouth and say

Child #1- mommy why are both his eyes different colors??

Child #2- why does he have a cut across his nose??

Now arriving at the scene the police. Park their car, and quickly hurry over.

Police officer 1- *In a quiet tone* Alright kid, leave these people alone. You know the rules. The inner city is where you do your business.

Officer 2- *Addressing the crowd of onlookers* Alright people leave. Go ahead with your business. We got this!! Get a move on people. Scram!!

Young man- No wait I live here!! I stay in this house with my mom!!!

Older folks- Huh are you Ms. Dawn son? Are you little Ali?? Your mother did say you went to your grandparents for a couple years.

Young man- Yes I am. I have been gone for awhile. I had stayed with my grandma and grandpa for a few years.

Officer 1- Okay even if you just agree with whatever they said. You could still be an imposter a con artist. What's your name young man? So that we can get this over with.

Young man- Alex Dawn.

Alex- So, now that we got that out way, If you'll excuse me, I'll be heading inside.

Officer 1- Yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Arguably, The situation is done and over with.

The officers look at one another and head back to their squad car. Officer 2 looks closer at his jacket. Hey Look at his jacket. He tapped Officer 1. "Shit" Officer 1 let slips from his lips. "Bill call the Sergeant, trouble just showed up"

The people who were standing and talking disappeared from in front of the Dawn residence. Alex walks back to his motorcycle and grabs his duffel bag full of his clothes and personal items.

"Finally, they left me alone.

For a sec, I thought I was going to be hauled off to the police station."

I quickly head to the front door and knock. I shake my head in relief. The door opens, and stands a woman with glasses and long dark hair. She stands at least one or two inches over me. She then speaks, "can I help you?"

Still astonished that she doesn't recognize her own son. Well, I guess I have been gone awhile. "Mom it's me, Alex " I spoke, slightly embarrassed. Ya know, I thought I'd get a reaction from her, but her face is just shooting daggers.

Alex's mom- Kid, you're a day late, you fuckin ass. You were supposed to be here yesterday. I know who you are. Just wanted to make you sweat a little. *she had a smirk on her face but it quickly vanished*

Mom said you cleaned up that behavior of yours, but looking at you, she lied. Damn, that old bat she's going to pay for this.

A man's voice comes from inside the house.

A middle aged man comes to the front door behind Alex's mom.

Middle aged man- Trisha, is everything alright?

Oh yeah, I forgot. Mom got remarried to.... Umm, what was his name again?...

Trisha- Mark, it's fine. It's Alex.

Mark came out to greet me.

Mark- Hey, buddy. How was your ride over?

Alex- Heyyy, Mark. It was nice. You know nothing beats the open road and some 2Pac. Riding always lets me clear my head. Plus I get to stop by cities with good food. I can't complain about that. I'm glad grandma gave me 200$.
