"Hey buddy how are you?" Mark walks past me.
"Hey Mark I'm doing dandy." Alex's said sarcastically.
I gave him a quick response because I was trying purposely to kill the conversation. I really didn't want to have that stepdad speech. That will just make it really awkward. I feel like it's already awkward enough.
"Alex go up stairs and changes clothes. You're late for school" Trisha said to Alex in an aggravated tone.
"I have to go today? I was expecting that I would start on Monday at least." Alex exclaimed and sighed some.
Trisha glared at Alex with an authoritative yet certain look. At that moment he knew exactly what he had to do even if he didn't want to.
With that note,I head upstairs and quickly change into something more suitable rather than my everyday clothes.
"Mom!" I said. "This blazer and tie? Is this a prep school?" I head down to the living room. Fully dressed in my uniform, I looked at her confused and a bit discouraged; definitely out of my comfort zone. She was standing in the doorway. "Yes it's a prep school. Mark actually went there. It's a really good school. With lots of opportunities. I want my little man to have a wonderful future." She smiled and adjusted my tie to her liking, eyeballing me up and down because this isn't something I'd wear on the regular.
"Mark and I talked about it. He thinks it would be a good idea if you went there. I don't want you going to a public school, it's too dangerous especially since you are part of that group of delinquents. You can be a different person here. Plus it might have a good effect on you and send you in the right direction. A safer one" I almost forgot mom doesn't like the gang stuff. Because of Dad.
"Alright, alright" I said "I guess there's no arguing but, if one of those high and mighty assholes mouth off it's not my problem what I do next." She intrudes "just try your best. For me Alex." I see the look in her eyes, I hate that look. So I cave, "fine." She lit up with excitement.
"Alright let's go," she goes and grabs her purse and right before we get to the front door she says " leave that jacket. I'll let you ride the bike but no jacket. It will cause too much panic. The public doesn't know you yet, they tend to overreact" "Alright" I said after a short pause. "let's just go. So we can get this over with." I took my jacket off and put it down.

Inside a large auditorium where a man is giving a yearly speech to students.
"A prestige learning experience for all that the door welcomes to achieve higher education. No student is negotiated. You can be whatever you want, no one can bring you down, but yourself. Achievements in the field you love. Nothing is out of your reach!.."
While his speech is giving hope to those who need it. There are those who reject it. That who has fallen off the correct path and now leads a path of ruin. They plot nasty schemes. Almost nefarious in nature.
A girl with long black hair and kind eyes. Along with a group of her friends. They surround her frantically looking for something or someone?
One of the young ladies ask,
"Hinata, who are you looking for?" She responds, "I was... um.. making sure everyone's here. But I don't seem to see him..at all? Where'd he go?" she continued to look around nervously. Another girl questions her confused, "who are you talking about?"
Hinata answers with an attitude "Damon! Who else?!"
"Sheesh don't bite my head off" said a short red hair young man.
"Miki I'm sorry for yelling."
"No problem man." He replied "I know you're just worried."
" Rena? Have you seen him? where'd he go? Another girl says he went to the bathroom..Oh also Damon was called by Terumi." The group of students begin to leave the auditorium. We have to find him now.
*In the hallway of the east entrance*
A group of males are pounding on something or someone on the floor. The object is struggling and attempting to defend itself.
"Make sure you remember your place and follow the rules. I don't wanna see you when I'm walking. As of matter of fact!! I don't wanna see your face or hear your voice." said a taller young man with green hair and sinister eyes.
"Terumi is this enough?" Said a small slightly heavier set young man.
"Pete, just keep going I'll let you know," said Terumi angrily.
"Yeah, he'll live. I think? He should anyway" Said a muscular young man smirking. "Jeez Ryan just keep going" said Terumi. "Stop getting distracted I'm trying to teach someone a lesson" he continued
"And don't you even say anything, Jason." Terumi was talking to a small young man. "You're involved with us now. We Don't fold under the pressure, Silver Serpents slither together. You hear that Damon? We stick together." Terumi grabs Damon's short hair and brings his head up.
"This could've all been avoided. You should've stuck to the plan. I lo-" Terumi bite his lip as if holding back words. Terumi's quick rant about Damon was over and he delivers a swift punch to the face. Damon's nose is bleeding. Damon lets out a squeal. Terumi lets out a malicious laugh. Jason thought to himself,
-What was the purpose of beating up on Damon every other day? It just seemed personal-
It just made him sad, but he was involved now so it's not really anything to say about it. He could easily be replaced in this situation and they both would be getting beat senseless. -It's best to keep my mouth shut-
As they continue to beat their prey, the violent beating goes for over what could only felt like hours, The sound of a patter of footsteps are climbing the staircase.
"Ah man this place is huge, glad mom finally left. Would've been hella embarrassing to walk me to class. Especially when Mark asked if he could instead of her. Now if I could only find this classroom. Why would this school give you a map!!?! I'm hopelessly lost." said a young man's voice as he emerged to the top of the staircase.
The group of young men stops and turns to face who the voice belongs to. "Who the hell are you?" Said Terumi.
"Me? I'm Alex, Alex Dawn. I just transferred here. I'm the new kid. I've been lost for about 25 minutes. Umm I kinda feel bad for interrupting.. But can you tell me where class 4-c is?"
Awkwardly Ryan points to the class next to them. "Ah thanks man." Alex then proceeds and begins to walk to the class when-
a small husky and faint voice cries for help. "Please ..help me…" Alex looks around and notices that the person all bloodied and bruised is asking for help while looking at him implying he does something.
"Ohh so you're the one asking for help." Alex has an intense glare at Damon.
Alex then says "Not my problem kid I'm sure you got yourself in this mess. Asking for a stranger for help is beyond ridiculous. So on that note help yourself." Damon's heart broke, no one was willing to step up and help. With that all the tears that Damon was holding in started to flow like a river as he began to plead for help. "No!! no!! No!! please!! please! I didn't do anything" Terumi laughs at Damon's pitiful face and Alex's refusal to step in.
Then a group of young women and one male arrive. Damon yells for the girl with long black hair.
"Damn you Terumi!!" Said Hinata as she glared maliciously at him.
Terumi then looks at the girl. "Well well well if it isn't Hinata and the breakfast club. if it isn't one thing it's another. Terumi lets out a deep sigh
What could I do to bother you princess?" Terumi raises Damon by his neck with little ease. "As far as I'm concerned. This has nothing, and I mean nothing to do with ya." Terumi prompted himself for a verbal matchup and cracked his neck on both sides smiling.
