Chapter 10 - 9. Contributions in the train car.

"Your number." Daniel hands out the phone, he asks without hesitation because Kim Na Ra is not an alien in him life, they once became a couple, and then it ends.

Na Ra looked closely at the eyes of the man sitting next to her, under the roof of the train car, not sure what she was looking for, but received Daniel's phone and typed a number there.

"I could have asked Se Young for your number, actually."

"I knew it," said Kim Na Ra, Choi Daniel must have known had office address from Se Young.

"You're good at analyzing, but I'd rather ask you for a straight number to see how sincere you are about allowing that."

"Even if I didn't mean it, you'd still get it, wouldn't you?" Na Ra asked, knowing her former boyfriend very well, remember Daniel saying—if he had strong will, then holding the world would be no big deal for him.

"Exactly."

Kim Na Ra's phone rang, but it wasn't from a foreign number that probably belonged to Daniel. His boss's name on the office was listed there. "Yeobseo, Lee-sajangnim." The light on Na Ra's face immediately appeared on the phone, Daniel watched from here, monolid eyes Kim Na Ra was like a tiny fingerrose petal, but amazingly, the plant was only as big as a finger, a glass jar would have contained it, but the scent was quite soothing.

"I'm sorry I just checked your blueprints for your division meeting, but again I'll never regret having asked you to keep this job. Kim Na Ra, are the jobdesk you distribute when the internal meeting is properly handled? Is that the checklist?"

"Dae." Na Ra's head was also nodding, with each movement of her body so steady as Choi Daniel's, his eyes were like camera lenses projecting the task in determining a target for a portrait, so sharp that there can be no doubt. "I have contacted the best catering vendors, souvenirs and buildings with Han Yo Min. I have written of planning B when the rundown is urgent. Me and Tim will decorate the building tomorrow."

"Ah, of course. I'm always satisfied to hear of all of the planning you've devised for any new job event, at least you and your team are working at the best possible job." Heard the man breathing heavily, like he was in trouble. "Do you know that other teams have even failed the company for such a small event? Really, if you hold it, it'll all work out."

All that? Seriously, where am I capable of handling two events at a time, does this guy think I'm a robot?

The girl drew a violent breath, and Na Ra had lost her mind due to not being able to take a leave of absence, even more unwilling to imagine the event of another team being executed by her team. Everyone could be dying, and then the bar owner would be rich overnight because all the alcohol in the place was ordered by Kim Na Ra's frustrated division team.

"Well, I guess I talk too much, I'm waiting for the success report on your show, Kim Na Ra."

"Dae, Lee-sajangnim. Thank you very much." The phone call ended, the woman twirled her stiff neck, a sense of calm and anxiety at one's head at a time.

"Why?" Choi Daniel's voice came back. "After the call, you didn't seem excited."

"I'm just tired." When the elderly couple see people across from them, they seem to coordinate to justify a bouquet of flowers somehow, but the condition of the bouquet is bad enough. Perhaps falling and being trampled on or something, Kim Na Ra focused on it, fretting who had ridden back for a while now backing away.

Choi Daniel followed the focus of Kim Na Ra's eyes away, the man approached the elderly and knelt in front of them.

"Need any help?" Daniel asked with a charming smile, the woman sitting behind him smiling with him.

"Right. We were about to raid the bouquet, we were going to my grandson's and bring the bouquet, but my husband his knocked someone else down as he entered the car." The wife complains that she also shows the broken heads of asteroids. "I took care of the plant with all my heart, but he ruined it."

"Hey, I explained all that was accidental. We can pick him up at home again, because he's a handsome guy, so you can complain in front of him?" The husband pointed to Choi Daniel, why the man was third party between them-indirectly. On the other hand, Kim Na Ra laughed softly at the interaction of the three, free entertainment in the moving train car.

"Why should you be jealous? Whether or not I'm telling you the truth, whether or not you have to admit you're wrong, is apologizing difficult for you?"

Daniel sighs, how he might do his good deed if the two elderly ones continue to argue like this, he turned to find Kim Na Ra laughing.

"Don't you see, the boy's even sitting there with his beloved." The wife pointed to Kim Na Ra, the woman's laughter automatically faded because she was designated someone who had a special relationship with choi Daniel.

"Can you justify this bouquet?" She asked Choi Daniel.

"I'll try." The man receives a damaged three-colored Daisy bouquet, he goes up and sits back beside Kim Na Ra.

"Can you do it?" asked Na Ra as she watched the bouquet in Daniel's hand.

"Should we try?" The man smiled, he took off the pink ribbon that held a few blossoms together and a brown paper paper, the bouquet's perfectly simple, just holding each other together without the need for the most expert florist.

Daniel looked at the elderly couple who were no longer arguing, and he smiled for them. "These papers have been terrible, but they don't seem to have any replacements."

"Right. Then no more paper, let me tidy the flowers." Kim Na Ra takes over the three different colors of the daisies, some of the leaves have fallen off, some of them still mops on the stems, but they're bad if they don't let go. "The leaves on a closed trunk, they're safe from damage, so it's better to position them."

"This piece of paper is no longer necessary?" Choi Daniel put the paper of tissue in his hand.

"No, it looks more beautiful on paper. They pick a long shaft, tie it with a ribbon in your hand, but first I've done it with the leaves." Na Ra carried yellow stalks of daisies, green and lilac. She is eager to remove the damaged leaves from each one, when they look better, and all the branches are put back together again, but just as Kim Na Ra arrangeed. If the stem with the leafs is meant to cover the stems without the leaves, it is like an oversupply. "Give me the ribbon." She held out a simple bouquet of her making to choi Daniel.

"Now return the bouquet to them, it's not as good as when the paper's attached, at least it's neat, right?"

"Yes, beautiful." Daniel did not look at his bouquet, but in Kim Na Ra's eyes just turned, as if he were showing whom the dialogue was opening, his small smile again. Soon he goes to return the correct bouquet.

"I'm sorry this paper doesn't work anymore, but it's better now, right?"

"Dae, it doesn't look like the original decor, but it's not bad, you fix it well. Thank you very much," the wife said.

"Say thank you to your beloved for us." The husband chided in, Daniel turned to Kim Na Ra, and she probably didn't hear the voice of the elderly because of a low conversation.

"Yes, I will." Choi Daniel sat back down, the driver's voice announcing that the train would be coming to the next station soon, and it was dark outside the window, so far Kim He Soo didn't call his sister, and the teenager probably didn't come home either.

"This is enough." The reason Kim Na Ra accepted Choi Daniel's offer to take her to the side of the road—before she took another twenty meters to her home—was because she knew that despite refusing Daniel had everything to do to find the woman's house, so let's be honest, Kim Na Ra's mood was in a good mood. "Thank you for this." She papered a paper bag of food that Daniel had ordered at the seafood restaurant.

"Yeah, about your brother, I've never seen him before."

"He's still in school."

"I mean when we were—"

"Noona! " That call, a bus across the street just dropped off a student with a proud basketball jersey attached to his body, a new uniform that Kim Na Ra had never seen. Kim He Soo immediately cross the street and go over to Kim Na Ra. "Look at my new shirt, they embroidered my name on the back." He pointed to the back, turning to show more clearly the embroidered name 'He Soo' using hangul and number nine. "Good or not?"

"Good, very good."

Kim He Soo looked at Na Ra again, like he was ignoring another man there. "Noona has to take her to the laundry tomorrow, and I still have one more shirt to compete in if it's just for practice. So, tomorrow I'm wearing a new shirt." He Soo's eyes lit up as though the moonlight were no match for how the light lit up his face when the sweat still poured from his forehead.

"Of course, you work very hard." Kim Na Ra praised that woman's hand on He Soo's shoulder.

"Ah yes." He Soo didn't realize he was here until he made a scene. "Who's this Hyung?¹"

"He, my friend."

Kim He Soo bowed for a moment. "Annyeonghaseo, I'm Kim He Soo."

Daniel did the same. "Annyeonghaseo, I'm Choi Daniel."

"Is it Hyung from the noona office?"

Curiosity started to grow for Kim He Soo, he had never met Choi Daniel before, not even knowing that he had an affair with Kim Na Ra in college.

Daniel shook his head. "No, we're old friends."

"One by one the old noona friends sprung up."

"Really? Who?"

"Coach Jung."

"Jung?"

Kim Na Ra cleared his throat. "He Soo, aren't you tired, we should go home now, your sweat is disturbing."

"True too."

The woman was staring at Choi Daniel. "Thanks again for walking me here, so you should go home, we'll go."

"Yes."

Kim Na Ra moved away with Kim He Soo, while Daniel was still in his position, but the man reached for his phone and called Kim Na Ra's number.

As the brothers' walking distance grew, Kim Na Ra pulled his phone out of the sling bag, found a strange number, but picked it up anyway. "Yeobseo, who is this?"

"Turn around for a second."

Kim Na Ra stopped and twisted the body, letting Kim He Soo go through the steps alone. "What is it again?"

"I just want to remind you of one thing." Daniel remained in his place, smiling though it was unclear in Na Ra's eyes.

"What?"

"I'll chase you like a wave, it won't stop."

That, that sounds terrible.
