Chapter 8 - 7. 'Happy Hour Coffe.'

24 Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

Kim Na Ra doesn't like to break had promise even if she has to wait until tomorrow to fulfill another person's request but today - after had work is done, she has time to go to Jung Tae Oh's coffee shop as that man asked her to.

Kim Na Ra stepped alone, looking to regale had way down the street, where the right-left side was filled with shops, this place was a very crowded area of shops, but it was just a short distance from Big Dream office, and today Kim Na Ra boarded a bus about ten minutes before getting down and down the more pedestrian—dominated street just like her.

Happy Hour Coffe, Kim Na Ra remembers the name of the shop, takes a look around, and from the distances up, a sign big enough to be attached to a post, from a distance she can spell Happy Hour Coffee. It was much easier than Kim Na Ra's picture when she has to find a coffee shop from other stores, and she was more than eager to move in as she got closer.

Coffee table set up in front of Happy Hour Coffee. As Kim Na Ra approached the door, she decided to stop as her hand nearly pushed the door through the thick glass, where she could see the busy activity inside the store. The three-story building, it looks like Jung Tae Oh's business is booming, so judging from the large number of visitors it's sure to be Happy Hour Coffee.

She probably left everything here, and she never came to the coffee shop before, and even if she did have a cup cup of coffee, she got that hot drink from someone else. Sometimes Lee Hwang In takes the initiative to give something, invisible attention.

Na Ra smiled, she saw Jung Tae Oh so busy behind the espresso machine, brought a coffee cup tray to the customer's table because the waiter was busy doing other things, and Tae Oh was involved, and the man didn't even notice Kim Na Ra's presence.

The man looks beautiful in his cocoa apron and then smiles kindly at every customer. After Na Ra's thorough work, the visitor here was more dominated by women. It's either this moment or the previous day.

The woman backed out as two visitors left, they were heard talking about Jung Tae Oh.

"He's single, and if he goes on a dating app, a lot of girls might be interested in him."

"Yes, even a coffee barista, but the man's charm is too brilliant."

"If only my stomach were well awake, I would come here every day to see that man."

Ah, I see. It seems that Jung Tae Oh became a special idol to his customers, now Na Ra pushed the door—emboldened to enter and look for a table chair with no visitors.

Jung Tae Oh is still not aware of Kim Na Ra's presence, the guy looks down while cooking coffee behind the espresso machine, which woman does not want this kind of man.

"Table of twelve," says Tae Oh as he delivers two glasses of americano for one of the servers. He reached into the pocket of the apron, the phone was kept there, then called Kim Na Ra without knowing that the woman smiled amused at seeing Tae Oh's call, while they were very close.

"Yeobseo¹, so come here?"

"Of course, as if you didn't see it?"

Tae Oh's forehead furrowed, he looked at every corner of the room until he found Kim Na Ra waving by the window. Tae Oh smiles, the phone back he keeps in the apron pocket after breaking his phone. Jung Tae Oh approached and pulled up a chair next to Kim Na Ra.

"Been here long? Why didn't you come to me?"

"No, one minute before my phone rings, I'm sitting here. You're so busy, why are you approaching?"

"Hey, you're my guest. I asked you here anyway, sorry you had to come when it was so crowded."

"It's nice, your business is doing well."

"So you drink a lot of coffee, then?"

Kim Na Ra shook her head. "Rarely, twice a week, but not always."

"I see." Tae Oh is thinking. "I think there's a coffee that would suit you, please wait." As he moved away and resumed his activity near the counter, the man's hands moved quickly enough when executing his work.

Within fiveteen minutes Jung Tae Oh returned, he brought a shiny wooden tray round and placed it on the table.

"Do you know the name of this menu, Na Ra-ssi?"

"What?"

"Raspberry cake and mascarpone. The weather's not that hot, but it's okay to drink iced coffee." Tae Oh smiled. "And this raspberry cake is just like you."

"Because of the red syrup, strawberries?"

Tae Oh nodded, smiling. "You have to taste it."

"Dae." Na Ra chops the raspberry cake with a small available fork and then eats it. "It's delicious. Did you make it, Tae Oh?"

"No, I only cook coffee, some cake here is specially ordered. You must be exhausted, right? How was work today, Na Ra?" Kim Na Ra's appearance made Tae Oh forget his job.

"You know how much I hate Mondays, so it's hard to explain." Kim Na Ra remembered a few things about today at the office. She got even more upset after receiving the envelope containing the photos from Choi Daniel, so she put them in the desk drawer of the study. "Nothing good from today."

"Really? So coming here doesn't cure your rage on Monday?" Tae Oh with a chin up.

Na Ra's movement as she pushed the piece of cake into her lips came to a halt, the fork was still attached to her lips and the woman shook her head. "No, you asked me about how I did today, so all the horrible things I said to the office. Got it?"

"I'm just kidding, why are you so serious?" He freely extended his hand to sweep the top of Kim Na Ra's head, and the woman was perfectly normal.

"Tae Oh-oppa!"²

Tae Oh looks over, he squeaks. "Why doesn't my sister come to take care of the coffee machine?"

"Hey, finish your job, I'm not going anywhere. My time is pretty free."

"Jinjja?" Tae Oh's eyes sparkled. "I'll take care of it right away." He became more energetic even though he had to get away from Kim Na Ra.

The G-writer today came and made a scene in the bookstore really crowded, the author of the mega best seller Lee Hye Rin was holding and dozens of other visitors. They had to get in line if they wanted to sign on the first page of their book, nobody special, so everyone had to get in line and be patient.

Lee Hye Rin was so pleased that Kim He Soo was willing to accompany her to the bookstore, the girl smiling and looking over at Kim He Soo standing by the entrance, standing alone staring at him cell phone screen, while Hye Rin still had to be patient to get in line.

Two other high school students suddenly appeared and went to Kim He Soo, and they seemed very friendly right away by talking to each other.

Hye Rin, who is still watching, was asked if she wanted to approach, but her book is signing soon.

"Ah! He Soo-ya. Bangawayo." The shoulder-haired girl greeted him with a girl in a gray bandana. "Remember me? Ye Ji Ah, your neighbor from Gyeonggi-do, remember?"

Kim He Soo nodded. "I remember."

"This is my friend, Han Kyung Eun, we're in the same class."

Kyung Eun waved, then bowed for a moment. "Annyeonghaseo, I'm Han Kyung Eun."

"Annyeonghaseo, I'm Kim He Soo." He turned to Ye Ji Ah. "So you're moving to Seoul too?"

Ji Ah nodded. "Two years ago, my father's work was transferred to this city. Never thought I'd see you again, He Soo. What the hell are you doing here? Waiting for someone?" Ye Ji Ah looked around. "With eonni?"

"Aniyo, I'm with the younger class. She stands in line for her favorite writer's signature inside."

"Omo! Are you dating yet?" Ye Ji Ah is really surprised.

"No, we're just friends. She often helped me out, she said," He soo, just as he said it, Lee Hye Rin appeared and heard it, Hye Rin's eyes suddenly dimmed, this was not pleasant for him.

"Ah, I see." Ye Ji Ah looked at Lee Hye Rin standing behind the glass door. "Is she a junior in your class? You have the same uniform, He Soo."

Kim He Soo turned over. "Yeah, she's a junior in my school."

"Can I have your phone number?" Ye Ji Ah handed her phone. "Type in your number first."

Without a doubt Kim He Soo gives something that Ye Ji Ah wants, it all goes through Lee Hye Rin's eyeballs, and the light bulb is getting dimmed. "Dae."

"Thank you. Greeting to eonni." Ye Ji Ah waved, then left with Han Kyung Eun.

After they left, Lee Hye Rin just walked out without getting rid of her sloppy face.

"Have you got his autograph?" asked He Soo.

Hye Rin only nodded before stepping away past He Soo, had mood was worse. Kim He Soo stayed at the girl's pace, but didn't say anything.

Hye Rin glanced at him, "sunbae, I have to ask."

"Speak up."

Hye rin breathes, whether she must ask or not, but she still wants to say this. "If someone likes you and expresses had feelings, how do you respond?"

He soo turned his head, and his expression did not escape Hye Rin's vision, the man remained silent, thinking the right answer.

"It's best not to let anyone confess their feelings to me."

"Why?"

"I'm a man, should move first."

"Does that mean, if you like someone, you'd ask her out on a date?" Hye Rin is jumping to conclusions.

He Soo nodded. "Maybe, and I don't like anybody. Besides, I have an appointment with noona."

"Ah, what promise?"

"It's not until noona has a boyfriend. She took too long by herself because she was busy looking after me, she had to have someone looking after her at any moment, doesn't mean I can't do any of that. Noona needs a companion, and sooner or later she has to get married, right?" They meet a busy side of the road, go hand in hand.

Kim He Soo managed to steal Hye Rin's smile again after hearing his senior's long line, Hye Rin was even more impressed. "Sunbae cares so much about eonni."

"I love her all the time, we were alone all the time. She's worked hard on everything."

"She is a beautiful woman, many men like her. Is eonnie close to someone?"

"Noona often ignores calls from male numbers, she's difficult to approach." Kim He Soo's gaze was fixed on a minimalist. "Lee Hye Rin, do you want some ice cream?"

"Dae!"
