In between the lightning & roaring sound of thunderstorms loud gunshots could be heard on the empty sea beach.
Sitara looked at the man, she could see the fire in his eyes. She shuddered inside watching Rishi's fury.
All of them loss their cools sometimes in certain situations, but Rishi, he never loses his calm, not in any condition, but tonight he is furious, and she knows that only she's the reason behind this fury.
"Brother, please—"
"She wanted to defile you!!"
This was the first word that escaped from Rishi's mouth, Sitara felt goosebumps as she heard his dreadful voice.
She opened her mouth, but then closed it again not knowing what to say. She never thought that this was the first word that he would utter.
"But they failed—" Half of the words died in her mouth as the man directed his glaring eyes onto her.
"You knew everything since beginning, but stayed silent. That wretched woman wanted to demean you, ruin you!!"
Sitara felt like standing onto a big ice bar,taking a deep breath she talked, "Brother, please calm down. Its not like I didn't wanted to tell you, or hide from you. But I didn't have the time to explain everything."
Rishi felt more annoyed seeing her nonchalant attitude, "Did you even realized about what could've happened if she had succeeded in her motives?"
The girl nod casually, "I know, & I also have the realization. But that didn't happen, right? We had stopped it. We've turned the tables against her."
Before Rishi could retort she continued again, "Bro, please calm down. Tonight I've something to share with you, which is much more important than this!!"
Sitara pulled out a manila envelope from her jacket's pocket and held out in her hand. Rishi stared at it for a moment with disinterest before looking at her questionably,
"What is this?"
Sitara didn't cleared anything, "Check it out, you'll know." Rishi looked at her before opening the envelope & pulled out the paper from inside.
But as he read the context, his hand shook and his eyes widened. His mouth fell agape, and just stared at the paper.
His anger which he was suppressing forcefully returned resulting him to burst out.
"What the hell is this? Where did you get this nonsense from?" He screamed out in rage. But this time Sitara didn't felt fear, she stood before him with a calm & composed look.
"Do you really think it's nonsense?" She asked in her usual calm voice, but the man froze. "What you want to say?" He looked at her strangely.
"Did you noticed the name of the hospital? Well, let me tell you, this report is prepared by Dr. Harrison, the director of one of the top most hospital in the world, Floweressence Hospital.
Dr. Harrison is not just a worthy doctor, but also the person whom you've trusted your only sister with. The person whom you've given the responsibility of my treatment." Sitara talked calm and collected manner, like she was just stating a fact, but the man started to feel uncomfortable.
"Brother, you knew about this since beginning, right? And not just you, but Mamu, Mami & Grandpa also knows about this secret, right?!" Dread filled in his eyes as he heard the confident assumption of his sister.
"I.. I don't understand what you're talking about?" Rishi withdrew his eyes from her & turned towards the sea while still denying it.
He was really shocked about it, the thing that they had buried in the farthest and deep down in their heart, the secret that even their sister was unaware about, how did she learned??
Sitara felt the turmoil in her big brother's heart, also assumed about what probably running in his head at the moment and smiled, "You must be thinking about how did I even found out about this, when nobody, not even my mom was aware about it, right? Well, let me clear your confusions."
She took the paper and put it inside the envelope before slipping it inside her jacket's pocket. Rishi turned towards her and stared at her. By looking at her calm, composed expressions he could feel that she had learned about the truth long ago.
An idea popped in his mind as he realized about the sudden change in her behaviour, character & nature.
Yes! The ferocity! Wildness! Hatred! & That intense murderous glint! It triggered into her after she learnt about the secret.
But now the question was how? How did she learnt it? Who else knows about it? Is there anybody plotting against her again?
Breaking his trail of thoughts Sitara cleared her throat, "Nobody told me about this secret, because other than you three, there's only one person who knows everything. Do you know who she is?"
Rishi shook his head, "Mrs. Naina Singhania & her two partners in crime. The exchange was done by her."
The man just stood rooted, he felt his heart had stopped beating. "H.. how did you know? W.. what's the proof?"
Sitara chuckled, "Proof? Here is the proof!!" She pointed her finger towards herself, "I'm the proof, she had confessed everything to me herself."
"What? What nonsense!!" Rishi refused to believe. He threw her a suspicious look.
"When did she confessed this?"
"When I was dying before her eyes, or should I say, when she was burning me alive!!" Shock flashed in his eyes before it turned into ridicule. He felt like the girl had losted her mind.
"You're probably thinking if I've lost my mind, isn't it?" The man just nod his head, "You're right, I'm indeed thinking about that possibility. If not, then you're lying to me."
A small laugh reached his ears, the girl just ignored his suspicious look. "Trust me, I had also believed it when I first experienced the nightmare a month ago.
I saw them, I saw each of them standing before the cell and watching my misery, before killing me mercilessly...!!"
While revealing everything to Rishi, she returned to the dreadful night when she experienced her death. Her eyes filled with that fire which burnt her into ashes.
Her body trembled while sweatbeads covered her body, each of the voices and their words, laughs reverberated over her ears.
Rishi just stared at the girl with utter shock and listened everything from beginning to end. He shivered unknowingly, his heart clenched.
Sitara narrated everything without missing any single word or moment. From the bridal attire to the cell, the cruel betrayal & back stabbing, how they burnt her alive. What they said, she told everything in details.
Rishi just felt ridiculous, till now he had just read this type of things in novels. But it was really unbelievable in real life. Is it even possible to see your future?
He asked himself feeling bewildered, but as he noticed the horrified expressions over his sister's face, her trembling voice, shivering body and sweat covered forehead, he realized that the girl wasn't bluffing any nonsense.
He was suddenly reminded of the night when she burnt Danny alive mercilessly. Another realization strucked him, he understood the reason behind her ferocious behavior.
She did it to stop herself from doing any blunder. She did it to calm down the raging fire inside her!!
Till now they just knew that she's not a Singhania, that's it and nothing more than that. And that one secret never changed anything. Nor their love and concern for her, and not her place in the Jindal family.
