Rhea breathed a sigh of relief when she left Celia and Rosa. She headed to her class, holding her bag to her back. A few students saw her and they began to murmur.
"Is she the one?" One of them whispered so loudly.
"I think she is," another student answered. "She looks like a nerd."
Rhea wondered if they were talking about her.
They had no reason to talk about her. She thought.
No one knew who she was; she had remained invisible as much as she could.
"But why would Will choose her over Sasha." Another student said, and that brought Rhea to a stop.
Did they find out that he took her home yesterday? She wondered. Or are they talking based on what happened a few days ago?
She could not stare at the students talking about her; she could feel their eyes were all over her.
"She has no sense of shame, don't you think?" A student asked.
"She must feel on top of the world now that Will is chasing after her."
"Do you think he is? He is just using her to get back at Sasha. She is nothing but a puppet to him," someone said.
The students burst into laughter, which made Rhea wish the ground could open for her to go in. She covered her face with her hair as she hurried her steps.
She headed to the restroom, her heart beating very fast.
Did Will tell everyone that they are seeing each other? Or did someone say they were going home together yesterday?
Rhea had a lot going on in her mind. The door to the restroom opened and Maya walked in.
"Look who we have here," she said with a smile; a devilish smile Rhea knew would be detrimental to her.
"Hi, Maya," Rhea mumbled.
"Are you good?" Maya asked. "Shouldn't you be in class? Why are you here?"
"I... I-I was just about to leave."
Maya nodded. "You should. You might need to do that as soon as possible too."
Rhea furrowed her brows. Sasha isn't coming here, is she?
She gave no reply to Maya, instead she found her way to the door but was stopped by Dahlia. She also had a smile on.
"Hi, Rhea. Why are you in such a hurry? Is anything the matter?" She asked.
Rhea shook her head quickly. "No. I was just going to class."
Dahlia folded her arms. "To meet Will? You must be going to meet him."
Rhea blinked rapidly. They must have heard something. Someone must have seen them going home together and had told Sasha about it.
"I will take my leave now," Rhea answered instead.
"And why should I let you?" Dahlia asked, pushing Rhea slightly.
"Hey. Dahlia, that is so harsh," Maya said, pushing Rhea forward this time.
She was standing behind Rhea now, her eyes widened in excitement.
They must love this. Rhea thought. But that is not what is important now. She needs to get out of here as soon as possible.
She tried to move aside but Maya noticed quickly and held her.
"Nice move, Rhea. Are you trying to run away?"
"I-I am not. I was just..."
"What are you both doing?!" Someone yelled.
Rhea recognized the voice immediately; it was Sasha.
"Maya, why are you exchanging words with her?" She snapped at Maya. "Do you want to ridicule me?"
Maya shook her head quickly. "I do not dare, Sasha. She was trying to run away."
"You should have given her the beating of her life when she tried that! Instead, you are exchanging words with her. Do you want me to show you what to do?"
Maya chuckled slightly. "You don't have to. I know what to do now."
Maya grabbed Rhea by the collar and pulled her closer to her. "You just made Sasha rudely talk to me," She whispered. "I will show..."
A hand grabbed Maya's hand and pushed it away.
"How dare you lay your filthy fingers on my sister!"
Rhea blinked. "Ce... Celia? What are you doing here?"
Celia ignored Rhea and turned to face Sasha. "You must be Sasha. The troublesome Sasha."
Sasha blinked. " Who the hell are you?"
She wondered who this sassy girl in front of her was to speak to her that way.
Rhea pulled Celia's shirt slightly. She doesn't want to get Celia into any trouble.
"Celia, you should leave," she mumbled, but Celia ignored her; she wasn't going to let anyone bully her sister anymore.
Sasha pushed Celia slightly. "I said who the hell are you?! Are you deaf?!"
Celia was furious, she pushed Sasha aggressively. "That is for my sister.". She pushed Sasha again and she staggered backward. "How dare you lay your hands on me?!"
Sasha was taken by surprise she stared at Celia strangely. She was the first person to lay her hands on her.
Where did she get her courage from?
"Who the hell do you think you are?!" Celia snapped at her. "You must feel on top of the world bullying her, right? And you think you can bully me too? Well, you lie. You can't bully me and you won't bully her anymore. The next time you..."
Sasha dashed forward to Celia and tried to grab her hair, unaware, but Celia was so smart, that she moved aside quickly. Rosa, who had stood quietly beside Sasha, stretched her right leg quickly, and Sasha fell on her face, and laughter erupted.
A lot of students were watching the scene. Most of them had their phones on record; Sasha felt humiliated. Celia wasn't done with Sasha yet; she grabbed her by the hair and dragged it.
"The next time you bully my sister. I won't only drag your hair. I will make sure to feed you some sand! Did you understand?!"
Sasha scoffed but said nothing. Celia wasn't anywhere like Rhea. She is so bold and her eyes shone like thunder; she knew she couldn't stand her.
She shouldn't have tried to grab her hair. She thought.
Students were murmuring, which made Sasha so angry, but she dared not say a word, or it might anger Celia. Celia waited impatiently for Sasha's reply as she stared dangerously at her. Dahlia and Maya could sense the tension; they moved backward.
"Did you understand?!" Celia asked, pulling Sasha's hair slightly, and she groaned.
"Fine! I heard you. You should also warn your sister about going after her boyfriend."
"You should warn your boyfriend too. The next time I see him around my sister, I will..."
"Celia?" Someone called and she turned.
