Chapter 20 - A Peaceful Day at School

"Louie?" Rhea called.

She had not expected to see him anywhere close to the female restroom. She thought that the news of her being bullied by Sasha and her friend must have gotten to Louie and he had come here to save her.

He rested himself on the door, his arms folded. "Celia, that is enough. You have gotten the revenge that you wanted."

Celia pulled away from Sasha, not after dragging her hair for the last time. Sasha whined in pain, covering her face with her hair. Celia had not only humiliated her but had also reduced her worth in front of the other students. Sasha knew it would take a while before she would be able to get others to fear her again.

Celia faced Dahlia and Maya. "You are her accomplice right? You dare to bully my sister!"

Celia was angry; she wanted to grab Dahlia and Maya but Rosa stopped her.

"That is enough Celia," Rosa mumbled.

Celia sighed. "You're lucky Louie came in, and my friend thinks I've done enough. If you try to bully Rhea again, I won't waste any time putting you in your place!"

Celia's voice was loud and contained authority; Maya and Dahlia could only nod.

Dahlia felt embarrassed. She had not expected to see Louie here or she would not have gotten involved. She might have a fling for Reece, the new boy, but Louie will always remain the one she loves.

"I-I am sorry," she mumbled.

"Save your apology!" Celia snapped at her.

"Come on, Celia. She is being, sorry here," Louie defended Dahlia for the first time.

It was his first time seeing her apologize to someone and it was sincere too. This made Louie see Dahlia in a different light now.

Rhea blinked. Did Louie just defend Dahlia? It is so unlike him!

Dahlia was surprised too. She had not expected Louie to do that.

"I do regret my actions, Celia," Dahlia apologized again, and this time, Celia could not help but accept that she was sorry.

"Fine!" She mumbled. "You had better not bully my sister anymore." Dahlia nodded but said nothing. "And you..." She pointed at Maya who moved away quickly.

She showed no remorse like Dahlia; Celia knew she might try to bully Rhea again.

"Whatever you are planning in that head of yours, don't do it!" Celia was sure to make her words clear to Maya.

She moved her finger away from Maya, to Sasha, who was too ashamed of herself to stand up; she had just been humiliated in front of other students.

"My eyes are on you!" Celia said.

"We should leave," Rosa spoke up. "We really should leave now."

Celia nodded. "We should." She faced Louie. "You should take Rhea to class."

Louie nodded. "I will. You should take care of yourself, Celia.". Celia left the restroom with Rosa, leaving Rhea to Louie. "We should leave too, Rhea. The teacher might be here soon."

Rhea nodded her head. She was yet to understand what had just happened. She followed Louie slowly to the class. Other students began to leave one after the other, too; they couldn't get caught by the teachers.

Dahlia left the restroom for the nurse's office. She was too embarrassed to head to the class; she couldn't face Louie.

She had thought about lying to the nurse that she was sick. Maya left the restroom too, but headed to the class instead.

She had no reason to be embarrassed. She had thought.

But when she got to the class and a lot of her classmates were talking about what had happened in the restroom, Maya felt embarrassed, but she kept her head high and refused to be intimidated by others.

Sasha did not go to the class or the nurse's office, she disappeared into thin air. No one knew her whereabouts; she never showed up even after school was over.

The rest of the day at school was quiet; the day had moved on slowly but it was peaceful. None of the teachers mentioned the fight between Celia and Sasha, as if it had never happened.

The students must have kept it away from them. Rhea thought.

Will said nothing about it either, despite hearing it from other students in class. He did not speak to Rhea either and she felt better with that.

"Where do you think Sasha went?" She asked Louie when the school bell rang.

Louie shrugged. "I do not think that is any of our business. Is it?"

"It's not but don't you think she will..."

Louie shook his head. "No."

"But I haven't finished my sentence yet. How do you know what I am about to say?"

"You want to ask me if she would bully you, right?"

Rhea scoffed slightly. "I do not want to do that."

"I know you want to do that. But be rest assured. Sasha won't bully you for a while. You should not get into her trouble either."

Rhea nodded. She knew that too. Whenever Celia fights others on her behalf, they tend to stay away from her for some time; most of which lasted until she needed to change school.

Rhea knew that might be the case here, too, but she could not help but wonder if Sasha would accept defeat just like that.

The students kept talking about how no one had ever treated her the way Celia did. They kept talking about how sure they were that she would retaliate; Rhea thought that too.

Louie nudged her slightly and she blinked. "What are you thinking about?"

"Sasha," she mumbled. "She won't back off easily. Would she?"

"She won't. I won't lie to you." He smiled. "But, I can tell you for sure that she won't make any move for as long as you stay away from Will and you do not cross her path. You know what I mean by that right?"

Rhea nodded. "Do you think I can stay..."

"You can. You have always done that. She was just being unreasonable. But now she won't try anything stupid. Maya and Dahlia would lay low too."

Rhea's eyes beamed with a smile. "You haven't told me why you defended Dahlia."

Louie furrowed his brows. "Was I supposed to have a reason to do that?"

Rhea chuckled. "That was the first time I saw you defend a girl other than me."

"I defended Mira, last week. Have you forgotten?" Louie asked.

Rhea shrugged. "But you never defend a bully."

Louie folded his arms. "What are you trying to say?"

"I was just...."

"Rhea?" Someone called and Rhea looked up.

It was a young girl about the same age as Rhea; Rhea had never met her before.

"Are you Rhea?" The girl asked.

Rhea stared at her. This girl in front of her looked more like her doppelganger. She had similar hair to Rhea and was almost the same height as she was.

Who is this girl? And what does she want?

"Who are you?" Rhea asked.

"Who are you talking to?" Louie asked.

"The girl in front of me!"

Rhea was a bit pissed at Louie for asking that question.

He can see the girl in front of her. Can't he?

"What girl are you talking about?"

Rhea pointed forward. "She..."

She blinked. Where did she go?
