It's been about four hours now and it's getting dark, I knew I shouldn't have left the hiking trail but stupid me…I did. I swear I've gone in a circle five times, but since everything looks the same I can't really tell. Insisting I give up I pull my cellphone out for google maps to find my way back to the main road, of course my wonderful luck…there's no service. I literally facepalm myself this time. Giving up I decide to take a minuet to eat a granola bar and drink some water.
As I'm sitting munching on my granola bar I hear a loud ass howl…
"What the hell was that?" I literally voiced out loud. Getting slightly bad vibes I pack up my things and try to find my way out of here as quickly as possible. For precaution I take my pocket knife out of my backpack and tuck it in my bra for easy access. As I start my walk back to the car I realize it's almost completely dark out, dark enough to where I need to pull my phone out for a flashlight. As I start walking again I hear rustling and branches snapping behind me, I take this as my cue to run instead of walk. Without looking back I bolt as fast as I can not knowing where I'm going but hopefully towards the main road. The branches snapping behind me continue and pick their pace up with mine. Of course me not looking where I'm going I trip and fall…
"Ouch! Son of a bitch!" I scream and pull my knee up to my chest to see it bleeding everywhere, great. As I'm tending to my knee I hear a vicious growl right in front of me. I slowly lift my head up to see this gigantic, ugly, brown wolf looking at me. I know my eyes are as big as saucers right about now. I slowly stand up and take a defensive position waiting for him to attack, I know with my knee injury I'm definitely not out running it. The wolf slowly tilts its head to the left as if surprised by my action. He then immediately pulls its ears back and growls once more, then he begins circling me. To say I'm scared would be an understatement but to run is a guaranteed death sentence. So I stand my ground and wait.
The wolf finally makes a move to pounce on me but I swiftly dodge it, at the same time I pull my pocket knife from my bra and pop the blade out, ready to attack myself. The wolf gives me no time to think before he pounces again, this time it easily scratches my chest open as I hiss in pain. He comes at me again but this time I turn and sidekick it in the ribs using its own momentum against it. It recovers quickly and this time it takes me to the ground with it. The wolf pins my right arm down, and before it can pin my left arm down I use my pocket knife and stab it right in the neck. My plan was to stab it and pull the knife back out, but because the wolf was so quick it pulled back and I lost my grip on my knife. The wolf howled in pain for a mere moment before coming back for more. This time I wasn't ready and he slashed my right thigh really good, this time I screamed in pain. As I knelt on the ground I realized I'm loosing too much blood. I look up to see the wolf come at me again, but before it can reach me a thunderous howl ripped throughout the woods. It was so powerful and beautiful, I've never heard anything like it. Before I know it there's a huge black wolf standing in front of me, almost shielding me from the brown one. Right behind him is a red and brown wolf, they're both a lot smaller than the black one but bigger than the brown one. The red one stands on my left while the other brown one stands on my right.
I can tell I'm about to loose consciousness but before I do, I hear a humongous growl from the black wolf as I see him leap onto the dingy brown one. All I hear as I submit to darkness is whimpers and howls of pain. I really hope that black wolf is okay…

I groan in pain as I open my eyes, all I can see is white. Bright white blinding lights, white walls, and a white blanket that's laid on top of me. Oh thank heavens…I'm in a hospital. Another hiker must have found me and taken me to a hospital. I immediately try to stand up, I struggle to do so but I eventually manage. I try walking to the bathroom only to be pulled back, that's when I realize there's an IV in my arm. I immediately rip it out sending off an alarm and run to the bathroom to relieve myself. As soon as I shut the bathroom door I hear the door to my main room open. After relieving myself I wash my hands and open the bathroom door and peak my head out, I don't see anyone so I decide to step out.
As soon as I do I see a man standing there with his arms crossed over his chest as he looks down at me…to say this man was handsome is an understatement. He was the most gorgeous man I have ever seen, his thick black hair was pulled back into a bun, his beautiful amber eyes looking straight through me with love, adoration, and anger? His defined jaw line is almost completely hidden but his thick 5 o'clock shadow. He's literally perfection.
"Why did you take out your IV without notifying a nurse?" His thick voice and slight Italian accent sent shivers down my spine. For the first time ever I was tongue tied and couldn't speak. Without being able to speak I just merely shrugged my shoulders in response. He immediately raised an eyebrow,
"Can you not speak?" This time he sounded genuinely curious. Clearing my throat…
"Yes I can speak." I suddenly felt shy and very self conscious.
"What's your name?" He asked me next.
"What's yours?" Was all I could respond with. A slight smirk appeared on his face showing off his dimple.
"Leonardo, now what's yours?"
"Selene." I answered him looking down. I heard his footsteps approaching me and couldn't bring myself to look at him. I then felt his finger under my chin attempting to lift my head up, but when he touched me I felt electricity shoot through my entire body and a voice inside my head started screaming "MATE". Over and over again, I immediately take a step back and looked at him with wide eyes. I don't understand what that was…
"Well you need to rest, you shouldn't be up walking around." He then grabs my hand and starts gently pulling me towards the hospital bed. This time instead of allowing the flow and electricity of sparks startle me, I embrace them. After I'm back in bed Leonardo pulls a chair over and sits next to me…he looks like he's having an internal battle though.
"So who are you?" I couldn't help but question him, I'm in an unknown place with a stranger sitting at my bedside. Even though I don't feel threatened or scared of him I still have questions.
"I already told you who I am mio amore." The smirk he has on his face right now I want to slap it off but at the same time I want to suck it off with my own lips…wait what fuck? Why am I thinking like this.
"No…you just told me your name. Where am I? How did I get here? And why are you here?" I fired all of my questions at him. He simply looked amused to say the least.
"Like I said I am Leonardo, this here is my hospital in which you are residing in at the moment. You were involved in an animal attack and was brought here to get medical attention, and well I'm here because I want to be. Why? Do you not want me here mio amore?" Again with his stupid ass smirk.
"Okay cool, I'm ready to leave now. I'm just fine." As soon as I finish I try to stand up and leave but this man is really stubborn. He places both hands on my shoulders and pushes me back down on the bed. His eyes roam my body, he looks at my eyes and then casts his stare to my lips. Is he gonna kiss me? Why do I want him to? At the same time that I want him to I don't. Im not like that, a girl that's easy. I notice that he is still staring with his hands still on my shoulders sending an involuntary shiver throughout my whole body, but not like a bad shiver. No, this shiver was full of pleasure. Before I completely let go of all my mental thinking I stop him…
"Listen, I don't know you and I don't understand what you're doing but I am leaving. You can't make stay here." I move his hands off of me and try to stand up again, but once again this man holds me back down. I look up shocked from the force he just used and his eyes are no longer amber, they're black. Like all black, not white or anything.
"You're not going anywhere! You will stay here until I give you permission to leave and only then will you leave but you will be coming back with me!" He all but yelled at me through gritted teeth. Who the fuck does he think he is?
"I don't know who the fuck you think you are…" I'm mad now and raising my voice which is something I don't normally do, but this whole situation is really weird. "but I'm no ones personal belonging. I don't even know you and you think you can tell me what to do? Yeah no, I don't fucking think so. So what you're going to do is take your fucking hands off me and let me leave before I fucking shove my foot so far up your ass you'll choke on it!" I yelled back at him as I pushed him away and stood up. He looked taken back by my sudden reaction and his amber eyes are wide with frustration, adoration, and lust? Not allowing myself to be pulled in more I start marching for the door. Before I can make it I am picked up off the ground and laid back in my bed. What the fuck? How is he so fast?
"Yeah I don't think so mio amore, you're definitely a fire cracker and I'm going to have my hands full with you. But for now you're going to rest." After he said that his eyes sort of glazed over? What is going on? Soon after an older women with mud blonde hair and green eyes came in.
"Alpha." She said with a bow of her head. What the hell is this? It's like a cult.
"Give my mio amore something to relax her for the night." My eyes grew wide, no I don't think so.
"No!" I screamed and jumped up from my bed so fast and ran for the door. This time I made it through and now I'm running down hallways trying to find my way out. This stupid hospital gown is starting to trip me, without thinking I rip it off and decide to go nude. Luckily I have my panties on. As I'm running through the hospital I notice no one even bats an eye to me or my nudity, and frankly I wouldn't care if they did. I find an elevator and furiously tap the down button. This is taking too long, I turn around and see a door that looks to be a staircase, I quickly open it and start running down the stairs sometimes jumping two or three stairs at a time. I finally make it to the bottom floor and run out the side emergency exit door. All I can see are fields, woods, and wolves? I don't even have time to think before I start running again. I start running for the tree line and just when I think I've made it a huge grey wolf jumps in front of me bearing its teeth and growling. For some reason I don't want to hurt this wolf, he's nothing like the brown one from last time. I feel like hurting this wolf would only hurt myself. Before I have time to think anymore the wolf jumps for me and I duck underneath it, he comes back again but this time I have to defend myself so I brace myself. Before the wolf hits me I hear another loud growl, I feel like I've heard this one before though. A huge black wolf jumps in front of me taking down the grey one. I want to run but my feet won't allow me to at the moment. The grey wolf bears his neck in submission? The black wolf suddenly turns to me and walks towards me, I want to back away but something in me is keeping me still. I close my eyes and hold my breath…I then hear the sounds of bones cracking? What the hell…I open my eyes to see Leonardo standing there in all of his naked glory. That's all I remember before complete darkness.
