After I was showered and my hair was brushed I walked out of the bathroom in just a towel. I mean I had nothing else to wear…as I leave the bathroom I see Brin sitting in a chair playing a game on her phone. As if sensing my presence she puts her phone down and stands up.
"Well I know I'm a lot taller than you, so I basically brought you some leggings and another t-shirt to wear while we go shopping. You know, just until you get yourself some clothes that will actually fit you." She said with a giggle, I couldn't help but smile at her.
"Thank you Brin, leggings and a t-shirt sound great to me. Do you think we can stop at my old house so I can pick up a few things?" She shrugged her shoulders as she walked up to me carrying the clothes in her hands.
"I don't see why not, so hurry up and go get dressed so we can get going." I immediately obeyed her command and went and go dressed. The t-shirt is a lot bigger than what I would normally wear, so I tied a knot in the shirt on the bottom left. I exited the bathroom just for Brin to throw my nikes at me…
"Well, we at least managed to save your shoes." She laughed, and I couldn't help but laugh with her.
"Yeah that's true, at least I'll have something that fits me properly." She then grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the hospital, we used the elevator and main entrance this time to leave.
"My car is parked in front of the pack house so I hope you don't mind a bit of walking. Plus you be able to see more of the territory and some training going on."
"Walking is great and okay that sounds good to me." She just nodded in response and we kept walking. As I was taking in my surroundings I couldn't help but admire how beautiful the land really was. The grass is so green, the flowers are beautifully bloomed and smell amazing, and the people and wolves seem to get along great. Another thing I noticed is that PDA here has no limits, I'm seeing a lot of couples making out right in the open. Surprisingly no one bats an eye and seems really okay with it. As if this is something normal…Brin must have saw me looking…
"Whenever one finds their mate it's almost impossible to keep their hands off of each other. Especially for the first couple of months, I guess you can think of it as a newlywed couple. Plus werewolves have an extremely high sex drive!" She added with a wink and a wiggle of her eyebrows. I couldn't help but laugh.
"For an alpha though, his sex drive and dominance is through the roof, I can't believe you're still unmarked." Marked? What does she mean by marked?
"What do you mean marked?" I couldn't help but be curious.
"Well when mates find each other usually the first time they mate or well have sex, they mark each other right before their orgasms. A mark is basically them biting the soft spot between your neck and collarbone. What that does is basically intertwine your scents so other wolves know that you're taken, so basically staking a claim on what's yours. After your done it leaves a mark like this." She stopped to pull her hair over to the side…
"It just looks like two dot tattoos?" What's so special about it?
"Well they do kind of look like that I guess, but that's only because we heal really fast. Can I ask you a question now?"
"Yeah of course." I hate talking about myself, but I've asked her so many questions so it only seems fair.
"How come you don't know anything about this? I mean you smell like a rogue for the most part but I can't sense your wolf." Rogue? Sense my wolf? What is she talking about?
"I don't know anything about this because I'm not like you guys, I'm just a human. The rogue smell I can only explain from the wolf that attacked me the other night." I mean that's the best explanation I have.
"No honey, I mean the smell from the rogue attacking you would have easily come off in the shower. This rogue scent is in you…"
"Well if it is I have no idea how it got there…as far as I know I'm as ordinary as mud." She laughed and shook her head.
"For some reason Selene…I feel like you're way more special than what you think." I could only laugh with her at that. Me special? I don't think so.
"Well, hello there gorgeous." A males voice came from behind us causing us both to turn around. The man was creepy looking. With slicked back brown greasy hair, dull brown eyes, and a very crooked nose. All and all he was very unattractive and gave me the creeps.
"What do you want Lincoln? We're on our way to go shopping, we don't have time for this; and who are you calling gorgeous?" Brin decided to speak back, but I can hear the venom and dislike for him within her voice.
"Oh calm down Brinley, I just thought I'd see the newcomer. To answer your question you're not the best sight to see in the world, so I was obviously talking to the pretty lady next to you." The man I now know as Lincoln replied to her and stepped forward reaching his hand out to mine…not wanting to be rude, I reached out and took his hand. He squeezed my hand extremely hard…I'm definitely gonna have a bruise. I wanted to pull away or at least wince but something in me made me keep eye contact and an emotionless expression.
"Alright Lincoln…let go of her hand." Brin finally spoke up with a growl.
"Well…where is your wolf dear? You smell of a disgusting rogue." He finally let go of my hand and spoke to me with disgust.
"Keep talking to my Luna like that and I'll call the Alpha." Brin is full on growling at this point and her eyes are changing from green to yellow.
"Oh beta female, please do call my dear cousin. You think I'm afraid of him? There's no place for a rogue in this pack or on this land. There's especially no place for a Luna without a wolf. He best just have his fun with her then reject her." He spit at Brin while directly looking at me with disdain.
"Well that crooked nose of yours says you should be scared of him." Brin came back with a smirk. This only causes Lincoln to growl and take a step forward, I wanted to back up but once again I couldn't. Brin also growled and stepped forward right in front of me…I then see her eyes glaze over for a mere second. Within seconds there are two guys standing in front of us. I recognize them immediately as Collin and Ash.
"Lincoln, if you don't want to die today leave my mate and Luna alone." This time Ash was the one to growl out. Lincoln threw his hands up in surrender.
"Fine, I guess I will take my leave now. Better watch your back Luna. I'm not the only one who will be having this opinion. I'm just the stupid one who will voice it." After that he turned around and started walking away. Ash and Collin immediately turned around towards Brin and I.
"Are you guys okay?" Ash was again the first one to speak while pulling Brin in for a hug and nuzzling her neck.
"Yes babe, we're just fine. My wolf just couldn't take the way he was speaking to our Luna." Ash and Collin both nodded their heads in understanding.
"What do you mean your wolf couldn't take the way he was talking to me?" Again curiosity struck me.
"A wolf is extremely protective of their Alpha and Luna. More so their Luna over the alpha. A pack is unable to function without a Luna, especially once their alpha finds her. Our wolf counterparts would gladly die to keep you safe Luna." Collin answered my question this time as Brin and Ash started a heated make out session.
"Please just call me Selene, and okay I see; but I don't want anyone dying for me. Literally like ever, I honestly think I would kill my self before I allowed that to happen." I sort of said my thoughts out loud which caused all three of them to turn to me. I'm surprised they didn't get whip lash from how fast they turned their heads.
"Selene never speak that way again, you are the glue that holds this pack together now. Without you there is no pack, you're the most important person here. Our first instinct will always be to protect you." Ash spoke this time while everyone nodded their heads in approval.
"Okay girl, we still have shopping to do. Collin where's Emma? Would she like to come with us?"
"She's sleeping, that's all she's been doing lately. I have no idea why she's so exhausted but she is. Usually I wake her up, but lately I can't bring myself to do it. Flynn just keeps telling me she needs her sleep." Collin responded to her sounding genuinely worried about Emma.
"Who's Flynn?" I know I ask a lot of questions.
"Flynn is my wolf counterpart."
"Oh okay I see, well maybe he just knows something that you don't." I said with a shrug of my shoulders. I have a feeling I know what's wrong with her but I'm not going to say it. It's not my place.
"Well are you ready to go Selene?"
"Yeah Brin, let's go."
Ash turned towards Brin gave her another kiss on the lips, and slapped her ass causing her to blush.
"Have fun baby, I know you have the alpha's gold card so you should pick me up something." He added with a sly smile.
"Yeah yeah, maybe we will see. I love you, we're leaving now. Come on Selene!" Brin grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a black jeep that's parked outside of a mansion. The closer we got the larger my eyes grew.
"Don't look so shocked Selene, our alpha is rich. Plus, whenever we get back from shopping you'll be staying on the fifth floor of this place in the alphas room with him." I couldn't say anything so my lips just formed a big 'O'. I hopped into the passenger side of the jeep while Brin got in the drivers seat.
The drive to the mall was spent singing and listening to loud music. Once we entered the mall that's when all chaos broke lose.
"Ooo Selene, come on let's go in here!" Brin pulled me into Rue21. Not soon after our hands were filled with hoodies, dress shirts, t-shirts, shorts, jeans, and sweatpants.
"Okay ma'am, the total today will be $924.23." My mouth hit the floor. I immediately went to whisper in Brin's ear…
"Brin are fucking crazy, put over half of everything back. I have clothes at my damn house, I don't need all of this."
"Alpha's orders Luna." She whispered back with a huge smirk on her face. I literally wanted to die right then. After we left Rue21 Brin started dragging me towards Victoria Secret and Pink. My face immediately got red and I tried to not go in…
"Come on Selene, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. How else do you expect to seduce our alpha." Again with the wiggling of her eyebrows. Once I finally gave up and went inside Brin started asking me questions…
"So what size bra are you? I can tell by looking at you that you take small in panties. What kind of styles do you like? I bet you would look drop dead sexy in anything lace!" I feel like she was more excited about this than I am, actually let me change that. She is more excited about this than I am.
"Well you're right about the small and bra size I'm a 28C." She just smiled and got to work throwing basically everything she could see in bags.
"I hope you like the color black, I got you a lot of black lace." She said with a shrug.
"Actually black is my favorite color." I couldn't help but smile at her. She's extremely sweet yet very fierce. I can tell she's going to be someone that I trust. Maybe in the future I'll end up trusting her more than myself.
"Okay well I think we're done here, do you want to check out now? Wait screw that, I have the alphas gold card and Ash wanted me to get something for him…so hold on just a second." She then grabbed a smaller bag for herself and threw some things in there. I can tell she likes the color red.
"Okay your total today is $1,347.47." I swear I got light headed and wanted to pass out.
"Okay now that that's out of the way are you hungry? Do you want some lunch? Because there's an amazing Chinese place right here in the mall." I was really reluctant. I barely know Leonardo so for me to spend basically $2,000 worth of his money wasn't sitting well.
"I think we've spent enough, I'd rather just go to my house to get a few things then go back home." Brin smiled so brightly at me, this confused me.
"What are you smiling so big for?" I questioned her as I raised my brow.
"You called our pack home, but anyways nonsense. Let me just put it this way, he won't even notice what we spent." I just raised my eyebrow at her. How could he not know what we spent. We spent so much of his money. With a loud sigh she began to respond…
"Let's just put it this way, unless we spend over a million dollars today he won't notice. I promise, now come on I'm starving and Chinese sounds amazing!" Once again I was dragged across the mall to a small Chinese restaurant.
As we were sitting there eating I decided to make small conversation with her…
"I take it you like Metallica?"
"I freaking love Metallica! How did you know? We didn't really listen to them on the way here." I simply just pointed to my Metallica shirt she gave me, then I pointed to the Metallica shirt she has on.
"Oh, yeah." She laughed while stabbing a piece of her orange chicken.
After lunch we were finally leaving the mall while carrying around 500 bags of different clothing and accessories. I really enjoyed my day out with Brin, but I just hate the fact that we spent so much of his money. What if he gets mad at me and kicks me out? I hate to admit it but I just don't ever want to leave him now.

What the fuck was that? It's that same voice I heard in my head when Leonardo first touched me. I decided to ignore it then, but now that it's back it's starting to freak me out. We put all of the bags in the back and hopped in to take the drive to Westbrook. I still needed some things from my old house.
"Selene I have another question for you."
"Sure, what's up?"
"Back at the house, when Collin said he doesn't know what's wrong with Emma, your eyes got wide for a split second. Then you said that maybe his wolf knows something he doesn't…what do you think is wrong with her?" She decided to ask me while taking side glances at me.
"It's not my place to say and I may be wrong." I still feel very strongly about that, I mean these people barely know me.
"No luna, please tell me what you think." I could only let out a sigh.
"Fine, I think that Emma is pregnant and his wolf counterpart knows that. Which is why he asks Collin not to wake her up."
"Holy shit Selene! I actually think you're right. Westbrook has a drug store, let's stop and get her a test. Is that okay with you?"
"Yeah absolutely, actually while I'm in my house gathering some things you can run to the drug store and pick one up for her." Brin just nodded in response and blasted the music.
We finally pulled up in front of my house,
"Okay Brin, I'll go in and get some things. While I'm in here you can go to drug store for Emma." With a nod from her I hopped out of the jeep and started walking to my front door as she drove off.
