Alpha Leonardo's POV~
As soon as I shift back I turn my attention towards my basically traumatized mate, but when I do I see that she's already passed out on the ground. Seeing her bare chest had me holding down my wolf like I never have before…she has the most beautiful body I have ever seen. It looks as if it was carved by the Moon Goddess herself…
'Cover Mate' Czar growls at me. I then realize that all of the warriors are present and looking at my mate. I immediately scoop her up and pull her into my chest. Damien quickly shifts and looks at me with wide eyes.
"Alpha…who is this rogue?" He asks me very carefully as seeing I am tending to her. Using my alpha tone I answer him…
"This "rogue " that you see in my arms is not a rogue, but none other than your Luna. Her name is Selene and I expect you all to treat her with the respect that you show me. If not then you'll have me to deal with…and that's the last thing you want. I won't hesitate to kill anyone when it comes to her." I can tell by the end of my speech that my eyes are completely black and Czar is trying to take over. She begins to stir in my arms so I take that as my cue to take her back to the pack hospital, but not before I hear a chorus of "Yes Alpha." From everyone present.
As I'm walking back to the pack hospital I can't help but look down at my little mate…she has slightly chubby cheeks, a cute button nose, full and thick pink lips that are dying to be claimed by mine, chocolate colored hair that cascaded down her mid-back, and the most amazing brown eyes I have ever seen. She was a walking piece of perfection that I plan to cherish the rest of my life and even after. Czar has been purring like a lovesick puppy ever since we found her. As I make my way back the pack hospital I see Brin running towards me. Brin is my beta's mate, I have to admit she's a nice girl even though she tends to get under my skin.
"Oh my Goddess Selene!" She screams as she runs towards me. "Ash just told me about you guys finding her in the woods last night. Is she okay? Is she hurt? Why doesn't she have clothes on? Where did she get that huge scratch on her leg?"
"Holy shit Brin calm down, no she's not hurt. At least I don't think…and she doesn't have clothes on because she ditched her hospital gown to run away from me, and her leg, well that came from the rogue she fought last night."
"Well I have some clothes that might fit her, even though she's a lot shorter than me I think I have some sweatpants and t-shirts that she would love." As she spoke I can see her looking at my mate with love in her eyes. At least my mio amore has someone here that she can talk to, someone that I trust.
"That would be great Brin, meet me back at the pack hospital with some clothes. Room 690." With a nod she left, I take it to get my mio amore some clothes to wear. I continue my walk back to our hospital room loving the feeling of the sparks that spread throughout my whole body just from her…she doesn't even know the effect she has on me. She has me wrapped around her little finger…she's definitely a fire cracker and stands up for what she wants and believes in, I can't help but admire her for the way she pushed me and spoke to me. Although my alpha side didn't much like it I couldn't help but be amused.
'She will be a great Luna' Czar spoke to me.
'Yes she will' I couldn't help but agree with him. I've waited twenty five years for this moment, and I won't let her go, ever.
I finally get back to our room and lay her back down in bed. I left a soft kiss on her forehead and pulled the blanket over her. I already love her…I can't help but to love her. I pull my chair back over and hold her hand in mine waiting for Brin to come back with some clothes.
Not soon after the door to the room is open and in walks Brin with grey sweatpants, new undergarments, and a solid black t-shirt.
"These should be okay for now, I mean until I can take her shopping of course." She says with a wiggle of her eyebrows. I just roll my eyes and turn around so she can change her. Even though it's literally excruciating not seeing her, I plan to be a complete gentleman towards her though, even if she isn't there to witness it.
"Okay Alpha, you can turn around." I turn around and see my mio amore snuggled up in sweats and an oversized t-shirt and I can't help the hard on I get. Czar is growling in approval in my head…
'Mark mate!' He keeps screaming happily. Sadly I can't do that right now…so I push him back down and focus on Brin.
"What all do you know about her?" I questioned her.
"Not too much, yesterday was her first day of college. I instantly liked her and invited her to lunch with me. So she already met me, Ash, Emma, and Collin. They all like her too but just like Damien earlier they weren't too fond of her because of the rogue smell. Honestly I don't even sense her wolf, so I don't understand how she's a rogue if she doesn't even have a wolf."
"Well she's not a rogue now, she's your Luna. Where are her parents? Do you know where she lived?" I say lived because there's no way in hell she's ever leaving me.
"I only know that she was going to medical school, she's 17 so pointing out the obvious she's very smart, and she told me her parents own a home not too far from the college." So my mio amore is smart as well, she's only 17 and in medical school? That's amazing to me, I'm already so proud of her.
"Alpha if you don't mind I'm going to take my leave now, I'm sure you're going to have a lot of explaining to do once she gets up." I just nodded towards her and watched her leave. I take my mates hand in mine again, letting her lavender and honey scent along with the sparks to calm me.
All too soon my bladder was killing me, I place a soft kiss on her hand and head to the bathroom. After finishing my business and washing my hands I come out to see my mate in the corner of the room, she looks terrified. I honestly haven't ever cared about anyone's feelings but seeing her look so vulnerable and scared hurt me…it hurt me like no other physical pain. I then saw a single tear drop fall from her eye and that's when I lost it…
