"I am the daughter of Mr Peter Jackson. I lost my mum in the process of my birth. I lost my only brother when I was fifteen years and finally I lost my dad when in was seventeen. Honestly I quickly moved over the death of my father because he was a gambler and I hate anyone who gambles because of what it did to my family. I have been met with a lot of misfortunes but I hardly show it because I hate to show weakness in front of anyone."
On hearing her say she hates anyone who gambles Shaw shifted uneasily on his seat. He knows he will loss her if she eventually knows he was a gambler like her late dad.
"Mr Lancaster adopted me after the death of my father. He said they were close friends though I have never seen them together. I have only met him at the La Masia restaurant. I didn't understand anything then but I wasn't willing to ask much because I was more interested in moving forward."
Everyone was speechless for some time. They were taking time to process what they had just heard. Instant pity fell on them.
"What's wrong ? "sharon said interrupting their thoughts. I don't want any form of pity from any of you. Let's move on with the game she said without an expression on her face.
Tobin could see she was trying to hide her feelings. He could relate to the fact she lost her mum during the process of death. He was in the same position.
Sharon quickly picked the bottle and spins it in bid to force everyone to move forward with her.
The bottle stopped in front of Tobin
"Truth or dare? " Hale asked his him.
"Truth"
Tobin replied quickly.
"No!! "
Avero objected. "You can't choose truth again. It has to be a dare now that's how the game is played"
she said explaining to everyone.
"Ok a dare then" Tobin said reluctantly.
"I dare you to kiss Sharon"
Hale said without thinking too much. His face had a mischievous smile.
"I didn't get that "
Tobin said pretending he didn't hear what Hale said and hoping he would change it.
"I want you to kiss Sharon on her lips for five minutes."
This time he added details so Tobin couldn't find a way out.
Sharon's cheeks immediately turned red. She wanted to object but waited for Tobin to say something first.
Tobin was in a state of shock. He has never kissed a girl before. He didn't know how he will do it although he has seen it being done in the movies. The fact it was Sharon made it more difficult for him.
I promised myself that i will stay away from this girl. She is trouble and I she cannot be the first girl I will kiss in my self. He looked at her, her lips were tempting.
Looking at the cup of water he will drink he stood up, took some steps towards Sharon whose heart skipped at that moment. She raised her hand to say something but stooped when she discovered Tobin was changing direction towards the cup.
"I will rather drink ten cups of water than kiss Sharon" he said aloud.
Everyone burst into laughter making Sharon upset temporarily.
Tobin took the cups drinking the water. It was difficult for him taking all that water but he preferred it to kissing Sharon.
'Who does he think he is refusing to kiss me.? Does he think he is special or what? "
Sharon asked inwardly casting an angry stare at him.
The brothers seem not to be surprised. None of them were expecting him to kiss sharon. Tobin's action made Avero look at him with interest.
After drinking the water Tobin came back to spin the bottle avoiding looking at Sharon he could feel her eyes piercing through his body.
This time the bottle stopped in front of Sharon.
"Truth or dare "she was asked
I choose dare. She wanted to appear tough before them by choosing a dare.
Alright Shaw said speaking for the first time since after his turn then.
"I will like you to give Tobin a slap"
he said while an evil smirk played across his face. His dare came as a surprise to everyone. He wanted to punish Tobin for embarrassing Sharon.
Tobin said a little prayer in his heart hoping she will refuse.
Sharon was grateful for the dare. She saw it as means to take a revenge on Tobin she walked up to him before he could say anything to her she quickly gave him a hard slap.
Tobin was totally speechless. He was hoping it will be a soft slap. He clinched his fist and cursed her under his breath.
Before he could say anything Dane stretched his hand to hold him.
"Calm down bro, calm down."He said
Sharon walked back to her seat smiling. She is satisfied with her self. The menacing stare on Tobin' s face made her laugh inwardly. She took her tongue out to make faces at him.
I will have my revenge Tobin said quietly to him self.
Sharon took the bottle and spins it again.
This time before the bottle could stop there was a rapid sound of gunshots outside the mansion. The Lancaster mansion was under attack from gunmen. Sharon instantly felt her fears coming through.
