Sharon recalls the day she met Mr Lancaster at the La Masia restaurant. She didn't really see him go inside the casino because she knows not everyone that comes to the restaurant goes into the casino. For the first time she worries about the relationship that must have existed between Mr Lancaster and her late dad. She wants to know if he was a gambler just like her late dad. Her hatred for all forms of gambling made her scared about the thought of him being a gambler. She will need to ask Tobin what they go do anytime they go to the restaurant.
At that moment she sees Mr Lancaster, Mr Huffington and Shaw walking through the living room. She had a feeling they were going to interrogate the man that was apprehended this morning.
She tiptoed after them. She has never witnessed a person being interrogated unless in the movies.
"The doctor is still with him" Shaw informed them when they got there.
"How long do we have to wait " Mr Lancaster asked with a frown
"Not long I have told the doctor to hurry up."
"Good. Scan the area make sure no one follows us. We don't know the kind of information he may have and the kind of things we will need to do to get it." Mr Huffington ordered Shaw.
"That is right I don't want anyone hearing anything in the house" Mr Lancaster added.
On hearing them give that instruction to Shaw Sharon quickly hid herself in the garden. She could see them and pick the words they are saying from that distance.
She later notices the doctor coming out and the men moving inside.
"I will need to get closer if I want to hear or see anything" Sharon says to herself as she moves to door peeping through the key hole.
She could see the young man that was to be questioned. He was tied to a chair with a bandage on his leg.
"If you tell us what we want to hear I might just spare your life" Mr Lancaster said coldly. She could see the frown on his face. It showed pure evil a facial expression she has never seen on his face.
"I don't know what you want to hear but I am not saying anything" the injured man stubbornly said.
Mr Huffington quickly gave him a hard slap on his face.
Sharon quickly covered her mouth to prevent a scream from escaping her mouth. She wasn't expecting him to be slapped.
After the slap came rain of punches on the face of the young man till he started bleeding from his mouth.
Wait, I believe he will be ready to talk now. Mr Lancaster said.
"Who are you? Who do you work for? "Mr Lancaster asked grabbing him by the collar.
"I don't know anything" he answered stubbornly again. Sharon kept wondering how a person could be so stubborn.
"Get a knife from the table" Mr lancaster instructed his friend. It was then Sharon noticed a table full of different tools. She gaped at the sought of tools that were lying on the table. It was then she knew these men really meant business.
"Take his hand and cut him by the wrist let him bleed slowly and die since he doesn't want to talk." Mr Lancaster said without sympathy.
As Mr Huffington moves to carry out the instruction he was stopped by Mr Lancaster.
"Wait!! wait!! Look at his wrist he said rushing forward and taking the man by the wrist. On his wrist was tattooed star.
"What is that? "Mr Huffington asked curiously.
"I know that tattoo. I have seen it before." Mr Lancaster said thinking hard.
At that moment Sharon feels a hand around her mouth.
"What are you doing here? " she hears a whisper from her back.
She turns fearfully and sees Shaw.
"I asked you what are you doing here? " He asks taking two steps towards her.
"Nothing" she replied with a shaky voice.
Shaw holds her by the hand and takes her way.
"What do you think you were doing by the door? "Shaw asked with a frown on his face after taking her to a safe distance
"I am sorry" she smiled apologetically
"I just wanted to know what will happen to him."
"Dad will be angry to see there. Please don't go back there."
"Wait. I hope he will not be killed? " Sharon asked
"I don't know. It depends on him. If he talks early enough he might just survive." Sha replied with a shrug.
Meanwhile in the torture room Mr Lancaster was getting impatient. "Who do you work for? "
He screamed at him
The tattoo reminded him of something. It has been long he saw it on anyone that's why he is finding it hard to recall.
"We are family"
the young man finally blurted.
His outburst came as a surprise to Mr Huffington but not to Mr Lancaster.
"What do you mean by that "Mr Huffington asked hitting him on the head.
"I know."Mr Lancaster replied his friend. It has finally dawn on Mr Lancaster who it was that must have sent the gunmen.
"That tattoo is a symbol for a cartel."Mr Lancaster said calmly
"A cartel? Who runs the cartel?"
"Of a truth we are family" Mr Lancaster said striking his chin and sitting on nearby chair.
"I don't understand, how do you know them? " Mr Huffington asked obviously lost.
"It is the stardom cartel"
"The stardom cartel? " Mr Huffington asked getting more confused.
"Yes it is. It is a cartel run by Mr Toma Dickson. The father of my late wife Arden."He said dropping the bomb shell
